The food here is excellent! The bread was so good, but salads as well. My father got a Reuben, and commented that it tasted great and was much less messy than any other he's had. Kids' grilled cheese was super...crunchy, melty yumminess. They were very good about my daughter's peanut allergy.

The baking store is wonderful, but is very specialized to baking. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you're expecting something else, you may be disappointed (no rice cookers or colanders here). You can find anything for baking, though, and their workers are knowledgable and helpful. Definitely a must for serious bakers!

What a disappointment, very overpriced and exclusively caters to out of state visitors. Highly overrated for the "nothing" that is there maybe it was a slow day. The food in the cafe was okay, nothing great. One good thing was the chocolate chip cookie.... All else very disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts. We’re very sorry to hear that your visit didn’t meet your expectations. We are curious to learn more about what led you to feel that we only cater to out-of-state visitors? While we’re privileged to regularly shake hands with folk from all parts of the country and the world, the local communities surrounding our Café and Retail Store quite naturally make up the larger part of who we are—including customers, our Employee Owners, and their families. We sincerely apologize if something occurred during your visit which would have suggested otherwise. We also acknowledge your comments about our prices and goods, which are taken into consideration. Please consider reaching out to our friendly team at 1-800-827-6836 or customercare[at]kingarthurflour.com so that we can collect any other thoughts you’d be willing to share about your visit and so that we can speak to you more about what we’re doing to show particular appreciation to the members of our community who live within easy-travel distance. Stay well and happy baking to you! Jesse@KAF

The baked goods here keep us coming back every year (when we visit our kids at camp), but everything here is good -- the sandwiches, the coffee/tea, and esp the breakfast. The cinnamon puffs are amazing -- like a donut in the shape of a muffin top. My wife dreams about them between times we can go to King Arthur.

The store with their baked goods, mixes, bakery ware, etc that's alongside the cafe is also a superb spot and we stock up on pancake mix, and other baking "necessities" every summer to get us through the year. Highly recommend this stop, right off I-91

We stopped in for lunch with our two kids at a midpoint on our trip to northern Vermont from Boston. As a big fan of employee-owned KAF, I was interested in seeing the flagship store. It was crowded with few available tables and loud, but the menu had a lot of choices and everything was very fresh. They have to-go items in refrigerators (sandwiches, salads, soup) which I will probably try next time to avoid waiting in line. They also sell other Vermont-made products from Vermont Butter and Cheese company, Maple Brook Farm, Vermont Smoke and Cure, etc. It's probably good that it was crowded because I would have bought and eaten a lot more (e.g. cupcakes, coffee and bread)! The food came faster than I expected, and we were given a "buzzer" to alert us when our order was ready, which was nice and easy. I shopped in the store before moving on - all the same items you find in the catalog but it was nice to be able to try out some items in person. Really friendly staff, great customer service.

King Arthur Bakery is a multi-taskers' delight. We had coffee and fresh pastries, before watching a cooking class and shopping in the company store. We even stopped back at the end of the day for a take away pastry for a treat with coffee, later. A sure fire stop for any group.
