Wow!! What can I say about this place....took a trip here in the fall. The back roads were gorgeous with fall colors. We had always been a fan of King Arthur Flour and always wanted to see the place. Believe me this will not disappoint you---from the awesome store with all things dedicated to baking to the beautiful cafe with homemade items---gotta try there bread! I some day hope to take one of their baking classes, which they also have there; altho you have to book this way in advance since they sell out quickly. I will definitely return here.

“A piece of heaven!”

If you love to bake this is the place for you! They have everything you could possibly want and a few things you didn't even realize you needed. Me and my lovely, patient, understanding husband went to Norwich Vermont just to visit the King Arthur store my "Nirvana" so to speak. And to make things even better they have the most wonderful cafe and bakery. Me and my husband went for lunch and actually picked up quite a few things to take home with us. The service in the cafe/bakery was absolutely wonderful. The staff is not only knowledgeable but helpful and friendly. They don't mind answering any questions you may have about the menu or anything else you may need. The sandwiches were wonderful as were the salads and the warm out of the oven bread. All and all its just a wonderful atmosphere and worth the drive.

“Simply Exceptional”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

Stopped by this place while on a snowboarding trip to Stratton. Just bought my wife a breadmaker for Xmas and have used nothing but King Arthur's flour. Walking into their bake store we felt like kids in a toy store. The flour is $3.50 for 5 lbs as opposed to $5 lbs anywhere else you look. We ended up stocking up on that flour along with an assortment of other goodies they had in the store like mixes for other breads, muffins, and cakes. They also have a nice cafe in the building that makes excellent sandwiches with their homemade breads. We will definitely be back to this place. Wish we were closer to be able to take some of the cooking classes.

You have to visit this place if you are a baker, enjoy cooking or want to start baking/cooking. They have a great web site with tons of easy yummy recipes. They have a great castalog and website to order what you need. I would love to take some classes sometime. Some much to see and do and buy. I could just get lost in this great store. Must see Must do if you are in the area you won't be disappointed.

“Lots of Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013

If you love baking, you'll love this place. My sister and I took two classes (Cakes 101 and 102) and made several trips to the Baker's Store to shop. The classes were well organized and informative and the instructors were patient and competent. The best part was taking home the beautiful and delicious cakes we made! The Baker's Store has wonderful, albiet high priced baking goodies - pans, gadgets, appliances, flours, extracts, mixes, etc, etc, etc. We first went to the store the day before the class. Then in class the next day we received a 15% off coupon for purchases in the store. The store gave us the 15% discount on our previous day's purchases without any problem. They even knew how to do the math! It was a lot of fun.
