“Everything a baker could want or need...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2012

.... and much more. Located in a newly constructed space the store carries probably everything needed for baking from flour to mixes to pans to tools. If they don't have it you don't need it. There is also a learning center where the offer classes and hands on instruction on a variety of baking disciplines such as breads, cookies, pizza and more. And to top it all off there is a bakery/cafe that will tempt you with an array of baked goods and light lunch options. I will personally vouch for the sticky buns and the biscoti. If you are in the Hanover, NH Norwich, VT area you should give this place a visit.

“This place has great bread and desserts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 26, 2012

I had to come here to take a class and ate in their cafe. The bread here is great and so are the desserts. This is a nice surprise since it is connected to a great baking school and wonderful giftshop for baking and cooking supplies. A fun outing, especially if you like to cook or bake- and if you don't, the food here is great!

“Wonderful! Well-designed with a beautiful presentation of culinary supplies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

Scheduled a stay in Vermont just to see this recently expanded store, cafe, and campus. The store is beautifully designed and spacious with an array of products displayed in separate sections (bakeware, cookbooks, spices and sauces, chocolate, etc.) View bakers at work behind the glass; enjoy lunch, desserts, coffee in the cafe; take some freshly baked bread home. I'm ready to go again.

“I'd move to VT just to be close to KAF!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2012

Already reviewed KAF once before they did their total renovations, but nothing prepared me for how beautiful it turned out to be. We arranged a vacation around this visit. If you love food, baking breads or sweets, just cooking in general, this is the place for you to visit. You really feel a sense of community at KAF. We took the Yeast Breads class this time & loved it. You work at your own station with all your ingredients & equipment at hand & take home whatever you make. Irene Shover was our instructor. She answered many questions & made everyone feel welcome and guided each of us on our journey to make beautiful loaves of bread. Thank you Irene for a wonderful experience....I hope we'll be coming back soon. Also had their ready made sandwiches to go...curried chicken was my favourite, not to mention the flourless chocolate cookies...yum.
