A treasure on the Connecticut River...fantastic when the weather is iffy! Make sure to visit the outdoor exhibits and let the kids play in the waterworks. The nature trails are excellent as well.

This is a hand on museum mainly for children but adults can also enjoy the various exhibits and activities. It can get very loud when classes are there. It is a three story place with endless opportunities for "discovery". Also has live turlte exhibit, presentations for kids on snakes etc

What a pleasant surprise! A very cool museum with interactive activities, a walking path, many different points of interest, a varied selection. Definitely worth the trip.

We took our daughter and friends here last week. This museum is well thought out and keeps your mind occupied. We thought it seemed fairly expensive for a children's museum, but still was worth the stop. I was amazed at the caliber of the exhibits given it was a more rural area. I would have given this a 5 except the price and the smashed penny machine wasn't working (after it took our money), and the attendant was of little help.

This museum has a lot of hands-on activities for kids both inside and outside. They also have a wide variety of walking trails outside with exhibits along them. It was a little on the expensive side, but our kids had a lot of fun (and learned a lot), so it was worth it. There was ample parking, grounds were well kept and the staff was friendly. I recommend going when the weather is nice outside to take advantage of the outdoor exhibits. We enjoyed our time here.
