“Fantastic”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

If I had a piece of advice it would be this: ORDER THE SCALLOPS and bread pudding for dinner! If you happen to go there for breakfast be sure to try the pastries.

“upscale quality at affordable prices”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

We had dinner. Everything was made fresh. The special was a braised pork sholder that was slowly roasted 52 hours-skillfully delicious. Tom O

“Sat outdoors in summer -- relaxing, friendly and scenic”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

There is a regular indoor restaurant across the 2-lane shore road from Lake Champlain. In the summer they also have an outdoor area under a large tent on a small promontory and pier into Lake Champlain. The lobster rolls were very good, the drinks and wine were real good, and there is a very friendly vibe to the restaurant. As the sun was setting we sipped our wine and watched a full moon rise to the east over the Green Mountains until, alas, it was time to return to our hotel

“Even though the facility is a long drive from Burlington the location is beautiful but the food is much too expensive.”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

Over the years I try to visit the North Hero Inn and Restaurant at least once each time I am in the region. The food is usually good to very good but I must admit that the prices continue to climb while the quality of food remains the same or has declined slightly. The service staff is always very good but if you want a quiet dinner you must go out of season.

I wish I could write a more positive review but for the time it takes to drive to the inn, I would choose one of the many fine restaurants in Burlington.

“Champlain Island Restaurant”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

A good solid restaurant with a varied menu ranging from fish to steak and a few unusual but excellent appetizers including green tomatoes or calamri with spicey peppers. Service was excellent.

There are a few tables with lake views but seem reserved for 2-4 people and probably for those guests who are staying at the inn.
