Very clean. Superior hospitality. Highly recommend. Very close to lake and other attractions. Rooms are comfortable and the food is good. Ruth really makes you feel right at home. She also takes AMEX cards which is a huge plus for me while here on business.

Little Gnesta is very well-planned. The decor is a beautiful Swedish blend of minimalist and functional. Ruth (and the welcoming committee, Phillip) are gracious hosts who make you feel welcome from the first moment. Breakfast is delicious, and Newport's waterfront is a short walk away. We will definitely return here!

Green Features: The owner has done a lot to reduce the footprint here. It may even qualify for LEED O&M, which I'd recommend.

Really enjoyed the lovely B&B and very gracious proprietor. With all of the activities in the area, I'm sure I'll be back! Felt wonderfully pampered in the Scandanavian beauty of the room. Really delightful.

We had a lovely time at this inn. The Scandinavian decor is ravishingly fresh
and pretty, and the Swedish bed the best I've ever slept in. Our fellow guests
were charming, as was our hostess, Ruth, who provided a sumptuous breakfast of
homemade bread, preserves, and granola, as well as delicious local cheese and
meats. We would be delighted to stay again whenever in the area.

This B&B is ony a few blocks from downtown & the lake. The rooms and common areas are very nicely decorated, and the service is really great. I have very severe dietary preferenes (vegan & gluten free) and Ruth was happy to accommodate me. If the Newport area is your destination or on your way somewhere else I would highly recommend Little Gnesta.

My girlfriend and I spent a night in mid-May for a little R&R.
What a great spot!
Our room was very clean and bright and Ruth was an excellent host.
Breakfast the following morning was great as well.
I wish we had more time to spend there than 1 night…perhaps next time!
Jeff
