“Very Good, but a bit Inconsistent on Pricing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2012

Ordered a large pie with several toppings. While it was delicious, one night it was $30 and the second night it was $25. I have to say $30 was the most I have paid for a takeout pizza. I will go back, but I would encourage folks to check the price. Pleasant staff.

“Great deal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

We were hungry and the restaurant next to Angeleno's was a 30 minute wait so we walked to Angeleno's. I had eggplant parm and my friend had the seafood casserole(shrimp, scallops and lobster)Prices were reasonable, we both agreed our meals were some of the best we have had in a restaurant. have no idea why people would wait 30 minutes next door when this was so good.Would definitely eat there again if in Montpelier.Service could have been a little better as we were charged for 2 drinks when we only had one but they corrected it.

“So so tired.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

We have driven by and it always looked empty but had a coupon and decided to use it. The food wasn't horrible but the ambiance certainly was. The restaurant looked like nothing had been changed since the 70's and not in a cool retro way. We tripped over an extension cord for mini-Christmas lights.

Food was OK. Good sub one homemade roll. Usually a good thing but the roll was very heavy. Mediterranean salad seemed composed of the very outermost romaine leafs. The leek soup was actually great. The seafood pasta was pitiful. Desserts were horribly overpriced considering the size.

Depressing watching the single waitress run around the mostly empty room.

Won't be back. Next time Sarducci's next door. In fairness we did not have the pizza.
Serves me right for using a coupon.

“Great food in central Vermont”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2012

Contrasting it's neighboring Sarducci's which is often crowded with long waits and ok food, this family run gem has been a family favorite for decades. I worked there and it was still my favorite place to eat. That tells you something. The attention to quality, cleanliness and their excellent pizza and options are incomparable. Easily the best family run pizza place (not to mention lots of other Italian options) in the re.
