“Lovely Little Maple Stop”

Bragg Farm Sugar House & Gift Shop

We visited in summer, so there was no sugaring to see; but there was an informative display of equipment used in the sugaring process, antique maple tins, and tapped maple trees in the yard. The little sugarhouse/shop exuded cozy New England warmth. The gentleman working in the shop when we visited was extremely friendly and helpful. He explained the grades of syrup, provided tastings, and gave information about every product we were interested in. We came looking for specific things and found them immediately. We were just delighted with this little treasure of a stop.

Had a chance to try every grade of syrup they offered. Ended up walking out with a maple creemee [soft serve with some maple syrup mixed in - delicious!], a bunch of maple sugar treats, a couple pints of maple syrup [I liked the Grade A amber while my wife preferred the fancy Grade A], maple cream, some maple sugar, and a bit of a tummy ache! Seriously, these people make great products and are clearly proud of what they are selling. Their passion is infectious and it truly shows in the quality of their products.

Very friendly people. A great deal on sugar on snow. we tried to ask about sugaring, but no one had a great deal of information. Definitely Canadian-friendly! ;) Adorable goats to play with in the yard!

We stopped in on a Sunday drive. The kids loved petting the animals and having maple cones. The owners were warm and welcoming. This is a fun cozy stop anytime of the year.

Loved this quaint little shop and cafe! Try a Sugar on Snow and sit for a while watching a video on how they make syrup. Tour the sugarhouse. Sample the different grades of syrup and pick some up to bring home. Just get there early because they close at 6pm.
