“Mmmm...beer”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

I had possibly the best beer that I have ever tried at this pub. one of the few to carry Hill Farmstead's Edward on tap as I later discovered. My burger was also very good although a little pricey. The service was very good and the waitress was knowledgeable. I would be back weekly to try every beer if I lived in the area.

“Lots of great beer offerings”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

Typical local brew pub. Lots of great beer offerings. Not so great on the wine offerings but as a wine drinker in a brew pub, I have found this is almost always the case so no big surprise. Obviously a popular local watering hole and worth a visit if you are in town.

“Just right!”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Unpretentious - hip, but not snobby. Young and old alike feel welcome here, and everyone just gets along. The local craft beer list goes on forever, so just describe your ultimate beer and the brilliant barkeep will nail it. For me, it was Zero Gravity's Hells Bock... unbelievable... I couldn't have done better. The only downside is how expensive the mixed drinks are. A gal wanted to do shots for her birthday but the cost was too prohibitive!

“A bar for the beer lover in you”
Reviewed June 26, 2013

If you are beer fan, this is THE place to stop in Montpelier en route to or from Waterbury and/or Burlington. They have the most impressive beer selection I have ever seen and they proudly advertise that Anheuser-Busch products are not served. The bartender - Zach may have been his name - was very knowledgeable about all the beers on tap. The menu is perfectly small. I had a great burger. Be advised that they are on the small (but thick) side. The fries were awesome.

“Great Burgers!”
Reviewed June 18, 2013

We popped in here for a late lunch..largely to get out of the rain in honesty. We were greeted with some super friendly staff and served the best burger ever! They served it with some pickled relish and it was brilliant. It has a great selection of beers so my husband was very happy. I would reccommend this place to anyone for sure.
