As new Middlebury parents, our recent stay at the Inn was just wonderful. Perfect location, can walk to restaurants and shops. Our room was well-appointed and very clean. The staff very friendly and accommodating. We all LOVED the breakfast brought to our room in the morning- everything homemade and delicious! Not to mention the incredible homemade cookies for an afternoon snack. Our son is a dual athlete so we will be spending lot of time up in Middlebury year-round. We hope to us The Inn on the Green as our home away from home.

Our room was large, clean, and well appointed. Our staff contacts were very hospitable. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning. We had reserved a mid-level room and they upgraded us to a two-room suite simply because they had it available. That's really excellent hospitality in my book. Honestly what more could you ask for.

The Inn is one of the larger B&B's we've stayed in, but the service and accommodations are among the best. The Inn has many nice touches including the original doors were preserved from a remodeling project and used as the paneling on the ceiling of our room. The food was great and there were no disturbances at night. We would definitely stay here again if we come for a visit to the area.

Room Tip: We slept in a room on the second floor in the back overlooking the parking lot and it was very quiet.

Sorry for the delay in posting this review but the Inn on the Green was just too nice to forget.... My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in February and 2 nights in March. We came up to the area to watch a nephew in the NCAA Div III basketball championships who plays for Middlebury College. The location of the Inn is great, right in the center of everything. A short drive or walk and you're right there. The Inn was spectacular and the Inn Keepers, Brenda & Bruce, even more spectacular!! Our first stay was in the Orwell Room in the carraige house. Very Clean, nicely decorated and great views of the church and neighborhood. (Free wireless with your stay). Parking is only a few feet away, so easy to get everything into the room. I can't say enough about the entire staff here. Simply Marvelous!! Our second stay was only a week later and this time we stayed in the Cornwall Room in the Main House. Again, clean, nice decor and make sure you take a quick tour of the rest of the house. There is coffee/tea/snacks available 24/7 and a great sitting area. My wife still talks about the great conversation she had with Brenda, learning about the Inn and the area. But the best thing about the Inn is the simply outstanding breakfast delivered to your room each morning. There is a card to fill out the day before with your choices. The local items were great, baked goods, coffee, granola, fresh fruit, cheese, the list goes on. I told my wife I want to go back just to experience the breakfast again. This is a great place and is great for area attractions or a romantic getaway....Book that Room!!!

Room Tip: Carraige house for more privacy....Main House offers a great experience....

Our family of four stayed here on a visit to Middlebury College. Very comfortable and cozy inn, with very gracious and helpful hosts. We will return.
