Stayed here with wife and two children for just one night. Staff was great, room was clean, nice coffee shop in lobby, (serves Starbucks coffee but isn't a Starbucks), and plenty of parking. Our room did face Route 7 but we had no issue with noise. Kids enjoyed the pool. Would stay here again when visiting Middlebury. Only issue, no extra blankets but we managed. Heating worked well and it was single digits outside.

The basic requirement for a hotel is to get a good night's sleep, and we didn't get that at the Courtyard Middlebury. The hotel is right on Route 7, and we were awakened from about 3:00 am on by roaring truck engines as they drove by the hotel. Other rooms may be quieter -- if you choose to stay here, make sure you stay in a room that is not on the highway side.

The hotel walls are on the thin side also; we could hear people walking around on the floor above as well as someone knocking -- not on our door.

This hotel is clean and comfortable, but I would not choose to stay here again due to the noise.

like everything in Vermont the courtyard is required to look like it belongs here . you might drive by the entrance
more than once because Vermont signage has to be so small. We had an extremely lovely room with fireplace
and whirlpool tub. Slight draw back that it faced Court st so we were aware of the traffic noise. Had an issue with
the fireplace but Tammy at the front desk had it promptly repaired by Eric. Very clean. Exercise room is very small.
Pool and hot tub were small as well. As always be aware of soccer, hockey families and busses full of skiers .
over all it is one of the nicest Courtyard stays we have ever had. Keep in mind that Vermont is "country".

It was a real pleasure to find a good hotel in this country setting. No doubt it lives off of parents and college teams going to Middlebury College. Rooms and public areas were very clean and comfortable. Bed could have been better, as well as the thin towels in the bathroom. Welcoming lobby with plenty of space to join friends and the "bistro" was decent for what they have. Friendly staff. Room price was not a bargain. But they are almost the only game going in this small town. All in all, a good place to stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). The hotel is nicely maintained. Ate breakfast at the hotel cafe one morning and thought it was good. The receptionists were very friendly each time we entered the hotel. Hotel is near everything in town.
