Owner description: Lincoln Peak Vineyard makes 10 wines (from dry to sweet), all them entirely from grapes grown in the 12-acre vineyard. Lincoln Peak's grape varieties are cold-hardy and make bright and lively wines. The Granstrom family planted 12 acres of cold-hardy grapevines in Vermont's Champlain Valley starting 10 years ago, and Lincoln Peak Vineyard has grown into one of the largest grape producers in the state. We're a family farm devoted to sustainable farming practices and the creation of new and delicious wines. We tend our vines with care, and all our grapes are picked by hand each autumn. We make wine in the barn we built, with meticulous devotion to the best winemaking techniques. We make our wine with our own grapes, and we're committed to 100% Vermont grape wines. We make bright, crisp whites, hearty reds, joyful dry rosés, and some sweet and fruity wines, too. Our wines have won three Best-in-Show awards at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition in the past few years, and we're proud of what we grow and make.

Very nice experience at the Lincoln Peak Vineyard. The wines were quite nice. Our Wine Steward was very knowledgeable about the Vermont-hardy grapes. Nice pours, nice conversation, nice facility. Definitely one of my favorites!

Thanks for visiting us! If you come back in the second half of September when we're harvesting, we'd love to show you how we pick grapes and begin winemaking.

We ended up visiting on our last trip up to Vermont. The place was beautiful, It is a good places to take pictures. The wine was very good, sweet but very good. We ended up buying a few bottles. The tasting was only 5 dollars, and you keep the glass, a good deal. They even recomended other places to visit and eat. This is a must stop when in the area.

I am a real fan of Lincoln Peak wines and have been since production began. Chris and Sara has truly drilled it. At a recent celebration we served only Lincoln Peak wines and got many complements about how good they are--even from California friends! I was especially touched when a Master Sommelier (took the course and did the exam) exclaimed on the goodnesses of the Marquette. Just try them!
