Owner description: Lincoln Peak Vineyard makes 10 wines (from dry to sweet), all them entirely from grapes grown in the 12-acre vineyard. Lincoln Peak's grape varieties are cold-hardy and make bright and lively wines. The Granstrom family planted 12 acres of cold-hardy grapevines in Vermont's Champlain Valley starting 10 years ago, and Lincoln Peak Vineyard has grown into one of the largest grape producers in the state. We're a family farm devoted to sustainable farming practices and the creation of new and delicious wines. We tend our vines with care, and all our grapes are picked by hand each autumn. We make wine in the barn we built, with meticulous devotion to the best winemaking techniques. We make our wine with our own grapes, and we're committed to 100% Vermont grape wines. We make bright, crisp whites, hearty reds, joyful dry rosés, and some sweet and fruity wines, too. Our wines have won three Best-in-Show awards at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition in the past few years, and we're proud of what we grow and make.

“La Crescent!”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

We happened upon this lovely little vineyard and were not disappointed. We did the wine tasting while standing at the bar where you walk in - no there is not a sit-down area for the wine tasting. That was not a big deal to us. The price for the tasting is very reasonable and the woman was very nice and well informed about the wines. I wish I had bought more bottles of their white wine La Crescent. It is excellent. There is a sitting area on their outside deck overlooking the vineyard if you'd like to have a small cheese platter with a glass of wine - full lunch is not served, so don't be expecting that. You can walk around the vineyard if you like, but we did not have time to do so.

“Nice tasting room”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

Stopped here with some local friends who love the place. Had a nice experience with the a staff that was inviting and informative. I wouldn't say I loved their wines but that's just my personal preference, it was nice that the tasting was free. They have a charming tasting room and a great deck out by their pond. The day we stopped by they had a band playing out there and plenty of people were enjoying a glass of wine during their performance. I would definitely come back and try out their wine again.

“Great local wines, fun on music night!”
Reviewed July 14, 2012

Recently came for Mogani, an excellent local jazz group playing live at the vineyard - picnic-style outdoor and porch seating, free lemonade, serving wine and cheese boards, as the sun slowly set over the pond. Sweet community gathering.
