Owner description: In 2015 we broke ground on a brand new, 120-barrel brew house. This state-of-the-art facility will expand our capacity and allow us to deliver more of our deliciously dank beers to bottles cans and kegs everywhere. Phase one of this project included a complete renovation of our pub and restaurant space. On the heels of upgrades to our packaging and production facilities, our brand new, mid-century inspired digs reflect the commitment we've made to our brand and the collective creative juices the keep our brewery running. We invite you to hop on the bus and join us on our cosmic journey of craft. Pub and Restaurant open daily from 11am - 6pm serving a locally-sourced selection of tasty treats with a healthy dose of delicious brews served straight from our stash to your glass.

“Great Food and Great Beer”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

Stopped here just to sample some of the beers they offered, but ended up staying for lunch. The soup was absolutely amazing. The place was packed, so it was a bit slow, but it was great to just sit there and watch the bottles pass by. They have quite a variety of beers to sample, so we tried a bunch of them. There is definitely something there for everyone.

“Decent Lunch”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

The Otter Creek Brewery was on our "things to do" list for our weekend stay in and around Middlebury, VT. We arrived later afternoon for a well deserved beverage after a 2 hour hike. I ordered a wheat beer which was delicious (I'm not much of a beer drinker), and my husband had the sampler. We ordered some lunch along with it. The food was ok - nothing to go crazy over. The setting was pretty cool - you can see inside the brewery room with the large shiny tanks and bottling lines. There was no production taking place at the time - which was disappointing, but none the less, it was a nice way to spend a a few hours. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and lots of locals seem to love this place!
Overall - I wouldn't recommend this as a must do on my list - but it was a good experience.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

We spend about half and hour admiring the waterfall and people watching while the local farmers market was in full swing in the background. It was a wonderful day to spend the mid-morning!
The town of Middlebury is super quaint, and Otter Creek is the icing on the cake!

“Middlebury VT”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

The waterfall and speed of the water viewed from the little craft and coffee shop above is amazing. You can then stroll down to the pool below the weir and get amazing photos of the water as it rushes over the drop and tumbles headlong down the curve.

“Great samplers available at the taproom”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Otter Creek was a stop for us after a long day of skiing at Middlebury Snow Bowl. Although it was crowded, we were lucky enough to stake out enough stools to sit at to enjoy a sampler of some of their brews. The sampler was $7.50 for six 4 oz. pours. Otter Creek brews not only their own line of beers, but also Wolaver's Organic beer, and the Shed, which was formerly of Waterbury, VT. It's pretty cool that Otter Creek kept these brews going out of their own facility. The service was quick and there is also a map, which allows you to place a pin on the area you are visiting from. On the way out, I grabbed a six-pack of the Wolaver's Alta Gracia Porter. Definitely worth the visit.
