Noonies bakes their own bread and uses lots of fresh ingredients to make huge, delicious sandwiches. Their soups are homemade too. And the Marbleworks, where they are located, is right next to Middlebury's falls--so it's a pretty place to sit outside and have a picnic.

One of my favorite places--so much so that I keep on going back year after year.

I love Noonies sandwiches! Especially the Vermont cheddar and apple one. The bread is delicious and the size of the sandwich is huge! Definitely a fun stop. You can go eat out near the waterfall on a nice summer day!

My daughter and I went there on the recommendation of a guide from Middlebury college. The place is a little hard to find but well worth it. If you are expecting sit down service with cloth napkins and black tie, then look somewhere else. It has a college atmosphere but the food tastes so good it won't matter to you if you are past college age (like me). The place had a Subway Restaurant feel to it, but the comparison ends there. You walk up, order and pay while you watch your sandwich being made. We got the Vermonter which we got on Honey oat (other bread choices too) with apple slices, cheese, honey mustard, and black forest ham! The bread is home-made and sliced while you watch. It was all so delicious, I will be back if my daughter is accepted at Middlebury!

Ordered a sandwich platter for the bride and maids' to nibble on while preparing for the big day. Service was fantastic - I called a week or so ahead - it was ready on time and the sandwiches were freshly made that morning. In fact, I think the bread was still a bit warm. Generously sized and really yummy, it was a great foundation for a busy afternoon.
