I stayed here on a Saturday night after reading the other reviews. For people who are just looking for a place to crash - this is perfect. I wouldn't stay here for a week long stay but for one or two nights it gets the job done. Unlike most places in the winter, it allows you to stay for only one night. Breakfast was slim even as continental breakfasts go, but again, that's not why you stay here.

  • Liked — Price, allow one night stay
  • Disliked — hotel rooms, scarce breakfast

We decided to stay at the property after seeing the reviews on tripadvisor.

It's a very very cheap option for the Killington area, considering the price includes a hot tub and free continental breakfast (make your own waffles was a great option). The owner/host was extremely hospitable showing us the amenities and very accomodating of our trip changes.

The room was a good size, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The shower/tub combo may feel a little claustrophobic for people over 6 feet tall (it's a bit narrow). My only gripe was the room smelled a little musty - that may be from the wet weather they have been having there lately.

I would reccomend this hotel if you're just looking for basic accomodations with a few extra frills. The property is very accesible to Killington (10-15 mins to K1 parking and 5 mins to Pico).

  • Liked — Breakfast choices, hot tub
  • Disliked — Older rooms (musty smell)

We spent a golf weekend in Killington, and booked this place due to the favorable reviews and the price ($46 a night in the summer--wow!) We werent disappointed, the room was nothing fancy but it was clean and quiet. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The lounge area has two fire places and a pool table, so I bet it would be a nice place to warm up apres ski. The hot tub rocked!

  • Liked — Clean and quiet
  • Tips/Secrets — It isnt a place with a social scene, it is a good place to sleep and relax

I stayed here mainly because of the price. I was not disappointed.

I read a review by some apparent yuppie claiming it's not for the "faster clientel". Wow! What can I say. I went to Killington to snowboard; not spend my time in a hotel. If I wanted to waste money I could have stayed home and went shopping at a mall.

This place, in my opinion, is perfect for exactly what I had intended; sleeping between days on the slopes.

It was warm, comfortable, clean, easy to find, reasonably close to the slopes (about 10-15 minutes to K-1 parking lot depending on the traffic on the access road) and had a hot tub! The rooms were comfortably sized with large closet. Plenty of hot water... I checked. The "continental breafast" was more than sufficient (unless you are a glutton). It had cold cereal, bagles, english muffins, toast(s), OJ, coffee and belgian waffles.

The price was perfect and the owner was an excellent host. When I was standing outside at the hot tub trying to figure out where the jet controls were, he came over without asking and instructed me. What overpriced hotel will come out in the cold (10 deg) to tell you how to work the hot tub?

If you aren't looking for a built in spa and laviously appointed rooms that you are paying $150+/night for, stay here and get pay the same price for almost three nights.

this has been 1 of my homes, beside living in the area here in the past, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quiet, and comfortable place to stay without paying for glitz on the mountain, which to me is overated.

The owners are very easy going, and are just great people to talk with, they are very outgoing, and will help serve every customer as best they can.

When i am visiting, I feel like I am at home. I am no stranger to the area, so maybe I will meet up with others, or entice others to come, and share this area that I love, and call home.

Last year I stayed at the KPML at least every other week during ski season. I'm back again this year.

The owners are friendly and obliging. They put out a very nice buffet breakfast. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and warm.

After a hard day of skiing, it's great to relax in the outdoor spa. Many of the clientel are regular visitors, and I've made several new friends here.

While there are many luxury accommodations nearer the mountain, (with fancy prices to match), the Killington Pico Motor Lodge is only about 7 minutes from the Killington access road and 5 minutes from Pico Mountain.

The place itself is not so bad but it's quite hazardous entering and exiting the Inn onto route 4. Parking spaces are inconvenient should a guest have a trailor. The lobby of the hotel is too quiet. There is a beautiful bar in the lounge however they do not serve alcohol. A cozy restuarant setting in the rear of the lobby yet they serve no food. Cold cereal, bagels, coffee is set up at a table for your convenience The rooms are very basic. My over-all opinion about this place is, if you just need a place to stay for the night, it's ok. It's not geared for killingtons faster paced clientel.
