“Yumm-O!”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

A glass of wine and a crock of French Onion Soup were perfect starters to an incredible meal. A small, intimate setting that we attended all dressed up. Others came in after a night on the slopes still in their ski duds. Service was great and the staff were friendly. I'd definitely go back and recommend the Snow Angel to anyone and every one.

“Enjoy”

They did an outside barbeque that night and the menu was limited but it was very good. They have a full bar. Service was excellent. Really liked our server.

“Not inspired.”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

This sadly is a restaurant in need of renovations. The staff was friendly, the food came quickly but the presentation and quality was average. A meal down the mountain at chain restaurant would have been a better experience.

“Delicious! Worth the drive from Rutland!”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Really enjoyed our experience here. The establishment was a very ski lodge like, simple, dark, nothing fancy. The drinks were great. We had the pork schnitzel which was EXCELLENT and definitely a meal that I crave. We also had a Beef Tips pastry that was also very good. We had good service and would love to go back to try some of their specialty nights.

“Great comfort food in a friendly setting”
Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here during a weekend ski trip and were not disappointed. We were seated immediately, and our server came over right away to take our drink orders and tell us about the specials. The decor is quite homey (it is a "tavern" after all) and family-friendly. Our main dishes were all very tasty- my daughter had the ribs which were moist and flavorful, my wife's schnitzel was really pretty outstanding, and my steak and mushroom pie hit the spot after a day on the slopes. For desert we had the pumpkin bread pudding with ice cream and it was one of the best deserts any of us has had in a long time. Dinner was a bit pricey (about $100 for three us which included appetizers, 1 glass of wine, main courses plus desert) but was worth it, we were very satisfied from start to finish. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, we will be back.
