My fiance and I have been here for over a week and the service is wonderful! Our cats feel right at home and the nice ladies running the Casablanca almost feel like family! We found this motel very affordable and close to ski resorts and restaurants. I know we'll be back - possibly even have a family reunion here! If you are looking for an affordable motel that is pet friendly we definitely recommend this place.

I stayed at the Casablanca for 2 nights while I was visiting Stratton Mountain. The motel is actually individually and unique cabins around the property. The cabins are very clean, comfortable and offer more room and privacy than a standard motel/hotel. I really liked the caretakers of the Casablanca. They were extremely friendly and accomadating. Just the personal touches alone would make me return. You can park right outside your cabin and they are all set far enough back from the road that they are very quiet. Plus, since its your own cabin, not a hotel room, you dont hear any of the other guests.

Overall I would definatly stay here again and look forward to my return. Im generally picky when it comes to accomadations and I was very satisfied with the Casablanca. I rarely give 5/5 stars for any accomodation but for the price/atmosphere and location, this place was perfect.

We've stayed at the Casablanca 3 times now. This motel is actually cabins that are affordable in a very pricey area. New owners in 2007 have only improved upon this good lodging. The cabins are very clean and oh, so cute! Each cabin has a theme meticulously carried out in all of the furnishings. Located just on the outskirts of town makes it very quiet. We highly recommend this hotel.

I have relatives in Dorset and frequently stay at the Casablanca whenever I visit them; it's just a 10-minute drive away, and very reasonably priced. Private individual cabins; one unit has 2 separate rooms, which is great for families with kids. Have used this motel over several generations of management; the current owners are working very hard to modernize and promote the property, and have added a lot of nice perks -- free wireless internet, free coffee, little fridges in each room, dog-friendly accommodations (even their own brand of pet treats!), etc. It's not high-end luxury (Equinox House is up the street if you need that), but it's got everything you **really** have to have, without leaving you bankrupt. Will be back!

We just returned from a four day stay at the Casablanca Motel in Vermont. The Hosts/owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming.Upon our arrival they even had homemade treats for our dog (very pet friendly)They also provided us with a list of wonderful restaurants and fun activities in the Manchester area. The cabin we stayed in was very clean and cozy. Each cabin is decorated in a different vermont theme.I would highly recommend this Motel to anyone visiting the Manchester area. We're planning our next visit in February we liked it so much.
we've stayed at many places in Vermont but this is by far the nicest and friendliest.

The Wedgewood Motel has changed it's name to the Casablanca Motel. We
found this motel to be close to all attractions with a friendly, helpful and pleasant staff. We stayed in the Northshire cabin and loved the decoration, warmth and charm. Each cabin is decorated differently and we can't wait to return to try out a different cabin.

There are 10 cabins on this property each providing their own privacy so you feel you are at home. Some rooms even accept pets!

Skiing was great, both cross-country and downhill. We even took advantage of the motel's discounted tickets and went to some museums in the area! Can't wait to return in the spring/summer!

Thank you

We stayed there for the 4th of July weekend in 2003. They are small, individual cabin-like. They are a pretty good size, full bath, color tv w/cable, AC or heat, writing tables & such. Each has its own porch with chairs and table to sit outside including its own individual outside light switch. It's very quiet and peaceful.

I highly recommend this if you don't want to pay the outrageous high prices of the other "motels" there. Even in high season of that weekend, we only paid like $59 a night.

It's extremely clean, no spiders & such with hanging webs or anything like that inside or outside and there's daily maid service. Very cozy and good for couples!
