A charming B & B Reception very good, a glorious room and an excellent breakfast. The building is located in beautiful grounds with a swimming pool just outside the centre if the down.

We really enjoyed our stay

Well done

Room Tip: We stayed in the Coach House - first class room

I can't say enough about how mush we enjoyed our stay at The Inn at Manchester! We were looking at several places in the area but this just felt right and I'm glad that we trusted our intuition. It became more than place to stay for us. It is now our exclusive getaway in VT.

The buildings and grounds were inviting and in excellenrt condition. The pool is exquisite and the hammocks were a welcome respite from the busstle of the activities we enjoyed.

We chose to stay in the Carriage House and our room was spacious, spotless, warm and cozy. It was as if we were in our home. We enjoyed the fireplace (Yes it was cool enough one evening to light it) and flat screen TV very much. The bathroom was large and accomodating. This may seem a small point but this room was well designed. It was so nice not to have to search and reorganize the room to find outlets to plug in our phones, laptops, etc.

While all of the ammenities were lovely, what really sets The Inn at Manchester apart is the owners and their staff. Frank and Julie were truly menat to be innkeepers and their attitude and energy permeate the place. They were extremely hospitable in a genuine way. Special kudos to Kevin, who runs the place in the evening. He was especially helpful, friendly, and used his connections in the area to get us great seating at some of the local resaurants.

I can't recommend The Inn at Manchester higly enough! We're already planning our return trip this winter.

Room Tip: We preferred the Carriage House as it is seperate from the main building.

We came to Inn at Manchester for a wedding that was taking place at the Equinox. The Inn is a wonderful place for the guests of the wedding to stay and be close to both the ceremony( within walking distance) and the other guests. The Vermont setting is so green and beautiful. The Inn was spacious, with many rooms to gather in and visit with friends. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect. The breakfast was made to order with delicious food and warm service. We enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the large lawn when we weren't busy partying.

Room Tip: Cinnamon and Rosemary were great rooms

We stayed at the The Inn at Manchester for 2 nights in the Carriage House- Wintergreen room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Frank, Julie and family including Chai (family poodle) were so welcoming, warm, and helpful! In addition, Frank's breakfasts are second to none! Excellent location in town, impeccably clean, beautifully appointed rooms and grounds and a wonderful, hospitable family. Hopefully, this will be a yearly visit!

We spent four relaxing days at the Inn at Manchester. Julie, Frank, and their daughter could not have been more gracious and forthcoming with helpful advice and local knowledge about restaurants, walks, and nearby attractions.

We stayed in "Peach Blossom," which is in a separate building next to the swimming pool. We liked having our own front door, which opened onto a beautiful garden that was an explosion of colors. Such a pretty sight to greet us each morning!

Even though we didn't get to participate (for various reasons) we saw other guests enjoying before and after dinner drinks in the fully stocked bar, schmoozing with the hosts. A nice touch.

The Inn at Manchester is a perfect Vermont getaway. It sits in the Green Mountains so there are many fabulous views. The inn itself is spotless and has everything you need including a wide front porch with rockers, a decent size pool (which we had to ourselves over Labor Day weekend), and enthusiastic innkeepers. Homemade cookies, tea, coffee and bottled water are always available. You can walk to premium outlets and restaurants. An Orvis flagship store is nearby. There were great deals at the outlets over Labor Day weekend and all the stores were open on the holiday.

The inn is also near the old village of Manchester where the famous (and expensive) Equinox Hotel and Spa is located. There are amazing homesteads all along the tree lined boulevard and nearby hiking in the Equinox preserve.

One of the best things to do is visit Abraham Lincoln's son's summer homestead called Hildene. Robert Lincoln was a lawyer for the Pullman Company and eventually took over the firm, becoming quite wealthy. His summer home in Manchester is indicative of his position. The setting is unbelievably beautiful and well worth $16 to visit.

Biking in the area is very appealing as well and there is a bike rental store within a couple of miles of the inn.

Back to the inn, I can't say enough about the innkeepers. They are gracious, helpful and cook a wonderful breakfast. I could have easily spent a third night at the Inn at Manchester.

The Inn is immaculate and extremely comfortable. The owners are very sweet and down to earth. We stayed for 3 nights in the carriage house (Peach Blossom) because we wanted the separate entrance, and we felt as if we were the only people there...very peaceful! The grounds are impeccable, and the pool extremely well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. We would absolutely return.
