The four of us found little to appreciate at Ye Olde Tavern, except for the fine bread basket. Food is rather mundane, appears to be "pre-prepared" and rather tasteless.

I visit Manchester many times a year on business and always have dinner at Ye Olde Tavern. The place is actually a historical landmark. You can tell its age by the warped floors and low doorways. The restaurant has several Vermont specialties on the menu. It also has local microbrews on tap. I would recommend a menu item, but I have had so many different things, and they have all been wonderful. There are two dining rooms with fireplaces, which are both nice. The place is right on the cusp of being expensive, but you get what you pay for, which is a wonderful meal.
