This place has been the inspiration for many DIY projects in my house, and arts and crafts galore. The prices are very low and there is something cool in every corner. I got a bag of unfinished building blocks for $3 (the same thing Melissa and Doug sell for a LOT more) and a neat little wooden logging truck for like $5. I can not go into this place with out buying something, and I never regret it.

Here is a nice store that is not a rip off! Large selection. Helpful staff if you need help. Wide selection for both the wood worker and this looking for completed items for every room in the house including the kitchen. If in Manchester be sure to check this non chain store out.

Take your time as you putter through this great little shop. There are some beautifully handcrafted stools, lazy susans, cutting boards, candle holders, etc. I found a large wooden clothes dryer at a very reasonable price - had seen them in Ithaca, NY and in Lancaster, PA and they were much less expensive in Manchester. They also had a nice assortment of candles. It was chilly inside - not sure they had heat! Attached to their showroom is their workshop. We plan on stopping there again when we are in the area.
