“You feel like at home”

We have been visiting Manchester Village, Vermont for years, actually more than decade. Somewhere on our way we "discovered" this nice and friendly motel and their so cool owners. Ever since than we have stayed in Weathervane Motel, winter or summer, fall or spring. We always feel so gorgeous here, we enjoy the company of Cica and Branko and don't forget about little Charlie, dog of the dogs. Rooms are really spacious, decorated in typical "old Manchester or Dorset way". The bathroom is big and clean, in summer swimming in the pool is just another relaxing activity. Children are sincerely welcome which matters a lot to our big family. The only disadvantage is remote location - you need 10 minutes by bicycle or 25 minutes walking to get to the outlets in the centre of the new village. Every time we say good bye to owners we hope that we will be able to make it from Europe just one more time. Highly recommend it.

This was our second time staying at this motel. We went with a group to tour the holiday inns, so we were only staying for one night. I love this motel! The owners are sooooo nice. When we returned from dinner, they made a fire for us in the lobby and it was cozy and relaxing. The rooms are large and comfortable.

When we got up the next morning, there had been a significant snowstorm. But our cars were cleared off! Where do you get service like that?

We will be returning in better weather to enjoy this spot in the spring.

Have not stayed here for two years. I brought our hiking club group back for the Inn Tour and
Hildene. Our group was smaller due to the predicted storm. After the day's activities it was nice
to get back to the Weathervane and enjoy the fireplace in the lobby. Murveta and Branko make
you feel at home. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. My room had a fireplace which I
really enjoyed. The best thing is it is quiet and you get a good night's sleep. In the morning our
group gathered at the breakfast area for conversation and a continental breakfast. Fruit, cereal,
beverages and delicious lemon poppyseed muffins gave us just the start we needed for the day.

The Weathervane is perfectly located to Hildene and all that Manchester has to offer. It never
disappoints. There was a blizzard the night we stayed. In the morning our cars were clean and
motel was plowed so we could get an early start. The only thing they did not do was start my car.

Room Tip: Get the fireplace room in the winter.

This was our choice to stay for a family wedding being held at the Equinox in Manchester. The motel was lovely with New England charm in each room. The owners were gracious and sitting in front of the fire in the main house was quite delightful on a chilly November day and evening. Price was right and we would stay again.
My hisband's only complaint was the mattress was a little "hard" for his tastes.

Wide open spaces, beautifully landscaped, large room and bathroom, spotless. The office staff were pleasant and friendly. At $150, the room was not cheap, but I thought it was a good value for the area. The decor is from the 80's, but we enjoyed the trip back in time because it was clean and well kept. Also, it is convenient to park by your door.

This motel sitting way back off the road with beautifully lansdcaped front and back yards and surrounded by mountains offers a great place to relax. Breakfast is served in the family dining room and consists of fruit, toast, cereal (hot or cold) and juice and coffee. A coffee pot is in each room. The owners are friendly and make you feel like a part of the family. Close by are many great little shops and restaurants.

Room Tip: You will need to drive to a restaurant . Recommend Mulligans in Manchester. Lovely back road drive...

Do not stay here. Bad from the beginning. Good location. The only nice thing about the whole place. Unkempt. Poor service. Or better yet no service. Indifference.on top of that they had the nerve to charge $150.00., when realistically the charge should have been $50.00 or therein. Would not want my best friend or worst enemy to stay here.

Room Tip: Dog poop on the lawn on the way to our room. Ice machine broke. Dirty room. Horrible continental bre...
