I've been staying at this place since I was a little girl and Sal and Trish have definitely kept up the homey feel of the place! The rooms are clean and comfortable and it's a wonderful, quiet place to kick off your shoes at night and relax! Definitely come out of your room and mingle with the other guests in the main room in the evenings and spend some time with them! We feel like they are an extended part of our family and it wouldn't be a proper trip to Manchester Center without a stay in the Olympia! We wouldn't stay anywhere else! :)

Although you can get coffee at the hotel in the evenings, if you happen to pass the Maplefields gas station on the way back to your room, definitely stop in and get some great coffee and snacks there! If you see Deborah there, you will get some great info about the area and some wonderful conversation!

Room Tip: Rooms in the back are a tad quieter since you can't hear the cars on 7a too much, and the earlybirds getting into their cars and leaving, but you really can't go wrong with any of the rooms!

Just came back from a wonderful stay at the Olympia Motor Lodge in Machester Ctr, Vt, We have been going there for the past 15 years. First with the Old owners and now with Sal and Trish. They made us feel right at home and couldn't have been more personable!!! We like staying there because it's like going to visit relatives. It's nice to sit in the lobby and talk to other guests and the breakfast was great. We will continue going there as long as we can to visit Manchester and our friends Sal and Trish.

First time visiting Manchester, Vermont. I was so happy that we decided to stay at the Olympia Lodge! Sal and Trish made us feel like we were staying with old friends or even family. These are great people, very warm and friendly. I hope to visit Vermont again soon as it is simply BEAUTIFUL! No need to look elsewhere to stay we found the perfect place. Plus Sal makes killer French toast :)

If you're looking for best-of-class rooms, outstanding amenities, and service that is spotlessly professional similar to that of a Ritz Carlton, the Olympia is not for you. This motor lodge that bills itself as feeling like an inn is exactly that -- a motor lodge that feels like an inn. The lobby features a massive fireplace, small bar, and sitting area. When we arrived, not only did we have a chance to get to know our innkeepers and their children, but we also got to know a wonderful golden retriever too. Breakfast is served by the innkeepers, and was very good both morning. The rooms -- ah -- the rooms -- basic, a bit dated, but spotlessly clean and much larger than the rooms of today's typical roadside motels.

The inn is located just outside of Manchester Center -- an easy 2 minute drive to the intersection of routes 7a and 11. There are innumerable restaurants and shopping outlets nearby -- and don't miss the Northshire Bookstore (one of the nations best independents). We highly recommend the Olympia -- and will definitely go back... not for the rooms, but definitely for the service and feeling like family. You should too.

I had an excellent stay at The Olympia Lodge. The owners were very friendly and really made us feel at home. They gave us advice on what sights to see, where to eat and just general chit chat. The room were very cute, clean and comfortable and the hot breakfast cannot be beat. You definitely get your money's worth here. I will be back!
