We stayed here the end of March 2013. The room was very clean - particularly the bathroom, which is always a bonus! It was very quiet while we were there. There was someone in the room next to us, but we didn't hear a thing. The Manchester View is a convenient location and only a few minutes drive to Manchester Center. The rate we paid for a queen room was a really good value. We would stay here again.

Thanks for taking the time to review The Manchester View! We take pride in our excellent housekeeping staff; they go above and beyond to make sure every guest room and bathroom is perfect. Our location is wonderful – it is close enough to be only minutes to the center of town, yet just far enough to be quiet. We look forward to your return visit; come back soon!

We recently stayed at this hotel at one of the queen bed rooms. The hotel in conveniently located in Route 7 near the town center. An easy drive to the town. The room had a comfortable queen bed and a terrace. One of the things we liked was that you can park right in front of your room, that's a plus when you visit during the winter and makes it easier to get your suitcases to and from the room.

We had breakfast at the place for $3. It wasn't anything fancy or outstanding, they had muffins, bagels, cold cereal, oatmeal and coffee and tea. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

I agree with other reviews, this is a great place to stay if you are doing a road trip or after a long day of shopping (apparently they have great shopping in Manchester, good deals) without spending a ton of money for a room.

We stayed in their 2 king bedroom suite with fireplace. The fireplace was key - nothing beats coming back from a day of shopping and eating to a crackling fire. The living room was roomy and the kids loved playing there. The bedrooms had huge king size beds and televisions, and the entire unit was furnished well, with a dining table with four chairs, a large sofabed with a coffee table, and a large comfortable lounge chair. We spend our evenings hanging out in that living room, snacking on various Vermont cheeses and drinking wine.

The room was clean, warm and had everything that we needed, including a sliding glass door that opened to a snowy yard, complete with pine trees and a wonderful view.

We used to stay at the Equinox in the past, but for the price of a single queen room at E, one can get a 2 bedroom suite at MV for LESS. I have a hard time believing that a better value can be found anywhere else in that region. This is why we will be returning to Manchester View whenever we are in that area.

It was great hosting your family! We’re pleased you enjoyed the Two-Bedroom King Suite, and that you’ll be back. We look forward to your next visit. Try us in the Spring or summer, when our grounds are bursting with color!

Manchester View was perfect for what we were looking for. We felt like taking a road trip without spending a ton of money. It's great that the Manchester View gives choices. It seemed like all of the reviews were for the suites with fireplaces and we really didn't need that type of upgrade. We stayed there many years prior and liked the place, so we came back. We stayed in a standard, queen room. The room was clean, the bathroom was spotless. The reception was outstanding from the initial telephone call to our checkout. Our only complaint (and it was not a big deal) was that we were quite happy to see the Keurig in our room. However, when we opened it the mineral deposits were pretty gross. I ran hot water through it twice and the particles were still in the cup so we skipped it. And, as I said it really wasn't that big of a deal - it should have been checked though. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend the Manchester View.

It was a pleasure to be your hosts again at The Manchester View. We’re so glad you find it perfect for your needs. There are many room choices from The Queen Standard to The Grand Suite, and many in between with one- and two-person spa tubs and wood-burning and gas fireplaces. It all depends on the experience you’re looking for.

We’re proud to hear that your room and bathroom were very clean, and that our front desk staff was outstanding. Our housekeeping staff is top-notch, and our front desk personnel are friendly and helpful.

Thanks for letting us know about the Keurig coffee maker. So sorry! It should have been checked, and we’ll make sure it’s done from now on!

Looking forward to your next visit!

Just got home from an awesome mid week adventure in Vermont. We stayed at the Manchester View For three nights in the two bedrrom Queen Suite. There were six of us, two adults and four teens. Although the bedrooms were small, we had plenty of space. The room was perfect for what we needed. We found everything to be clean, and well kept. The carpet and pull out couches looked quite new. Some of the other furnishings were a bit dated, but were comfortable, clean and servicable. Anytime we had a question or request, we got excellent service.

In our looking around for accommodations for this trip, we needed a lot of beds, central location to ski spots, and access to shopping. This spot has all of that, plus beautiful mountain views. This hotel is outside of the village, but nearby enough that you can get to restaurants, and the grocery store in less than 10 minutes. We tried to keep things economical, so we got takeout for dinner each night, and ate breakfast in the room each morning. There is a refrigerator in the room. We did not purchase breakfast in the breakfast room, so I can't comment on that. The thing that I think we all enjoyed the most was the availability of the wood burning fire place. It made things cozy in the evenings.

Thank you for the great review! We’re so pleased you all enjoyed your Vermont adventure, and stayed with us here at The Manchester View.

The Two-Bedroom Queen was perfect for your group. It holds up to 6 comfortably, with 2 queen bedrooms, as well as 2 queen sofa beds in the living room. The wood-burning fireplace is wonderful, especially on the chilly wintry nights. The table with chairs are perfect for eating in or playing cards or a game.

You were excellent guests and we hope to see you again soon!
