If your traveling through Vermont or New Hampshire and looking for a quiet stay, don't miss this place. Price is very reasonable, and accommodations are roomy, comfortable, and clean. Manchester is a nice little town to visit as well so if you are near by or traveling through it is worth the stop.

After visiting and being HORRIFIED with the hotel literally right across the street, we check into this place. It was amazing! The rooms were clean, the views are great. One of the best places i have stayed in a long time! i would deffinately refer ANY person to this hotel! The only negative comment... the pool was a little cold. Top notch place!

We stayed here for two nights with our toddler and baby. The owners are wonderfully nice and obviously take pride in their well-kept inn and gardens.

Rooms are very large by today's standards, and come with a small fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was recently updated, and though the decor is not particularly stylish and the exterior is circa 1962, everything was spotless.

Breakfast was simple: bagels, Tang, coffee, muffins, and cereal. Our room rate of 120$/night we thought was not bad value but not particularly inexpensive either.

Views outside of the room were to the garden and creek, and were lovely. The pool was a comfortable place, though you could hear cars going by on Depot St.

Our only complaint (though it's not really a complaint) was that we felt rather out of place as a family with young children, as all of the other guests we saw during the weekend were of the "over 60" set. We often felt that we might be disturbing others, though the owners were always very kind. Perhaps we just came on an unusual weekend.

All in all we very much enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised given that we weren't quite sure what to expect.

My wife and I spent a night here on our way to Canada and almost did not want to leave. The hosts are very friendly and obviously take pride in their little resort. Flowers are everywhere, the rooms are very clean and the grounds are very well maintained. Be sure to take a walk by the brook and enjoy the sights and sounds,

My Wife and I stayed at this Motel in Manchester Vermont last Sunday night july19th 2009. The owners Maria and Richard were very Hospitable and the rooms were absolutely Beautiful--I felt Like I was in a Major 5 star Hotel in Boston or New York. We became friendly with Maria who was there for anything we may need to make our stay pleasurable--the place is so Clean!! I rate this a 5 star Inn. Keep up the good work!!

Nice and quiet family owned hotel, closely located to Stratton mountain in Vermont. Good choice for skiers. Clean, large rooms with ski racks comfortably fitting 4 people, good breakfast (bagels, oat meals, muffins, etc.), outside hot tub, wireless internet available, an atelier with fireplace and piano. A variety of restaurants available in the area. A package to ski and stay is probably the best choice.

After reading mixed reviews about other small motels in this area, and finding none on this place, I was a bit concerned what I might find. I was pleasantly surprised to find a well kept up motel straight out of the '60s with modern conveniences.
The rooms are huge compared with today's hotels. They are very clean and were just done over in the past 5 years. For skiers, the room even has a place to store your skis. My room had a picture window over looking a beautiful yard loaded with incredible flowers. Each room comes with a good size TV, a/c, and a small refrigerator.
The place has an outdoor pool and a hot tub. They also offer a continental breakfast. There is a large fireplace in the lounge area that looks like it would be heavenly in the winter.
The only negatives I can think of was there were no towels at the pool, the hot tub was not operating, and they don't offer movies in the room. Not a big deal in my mind.
The present owners, a lovely couple, just purchased the place 5 years ago and have put a lot of work in it. They obviously care a lot about it and will keep it this way for years to come. If you are wanting the luxury of a Marriott or Hilton, this may not be the place for you. If you want a nice, clean, quiet, inexpensive place to stay, this is it.
Along with this great place to stay, there is also Bob's Diner across the street that is another total surprise. Not many diners have a wonderful chicken marsala.
