This inn is situated close to Manchester Village but far away enough from the noise and crowd. Considering the price it charges, I was very surprised by the size of the room and the cleanness. My friend enjoy the outside out tub a lot and stayed for 30 mins.

The hotel owners are very friendly and down-to-earth. The building in which they offer breakfast is gorgeous. This is hotel is located almost right next to the Perfect Wife lounge and restaurant. It is a great place to get a drink, especially after a day of skiing.

Considering I have just stayed a night at Equinox, I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy my stay at this inn even I experience at Equinox is still fresh.

Room Tip: Pick a room on the 2nd floor - you will like the ceiling and the set up.

A couple of years ago our ski house in Winhall (5 minutes from Manchester) was flooded so badly that the whole inside of the house had to be ripped out and redone. This took almost two years and the insurance company insisted that we visit at least once every couple of weeks to keep watch on the work. They agreed to pay for our trips up, including room with no restrictions. We could have stayed at any motel, hotel or inn. The Toll Road Inn was an easy choice. The rooms are spacious; especially if you stay on the second floor which have vaulted ceilings, clean and had every amenity. The rooms felt like home ... so much so, in fact, that we often spent hours there reading or watching TV. We got to know the owners who commiserated with us over the ups and downs of a gut renovation, having gone through the same thing when they bought the motel. Maria often sat with me early in the morning and shared a cup of coffee. The baked goods at breakfast were fresh and I know that she got up early to bake. We decided then and there that, if we ever decided to sell the ski house, we could come up and stay at Toll Road Inn. The renovation that took two years would've taken three months in Connecticut; but, this is Vermont and everything moves a little slower. I was actually a little dissappointed when it was over because I had come to look forward to our bi-weekly stays at Toll Road. The booking process was easy and efficient. We stayed at several different motels in Manchester before settling on this one. The price is competetive with the others and yet The Toll Road In is, by far, at least twice the size and offers breakfast.

Room Tip: If you go, ask for a room on the second floor. The ceilings are vaulted, making the room seem large...

We stayed at Toll Road Inn for one night on October 13, 2012. Family of four – 2 adults and 2 children. Trip was see the Fall Foliage and also do a two hour off-road driving course at the Land Rover Driving School.
The first ting that we liked is unlike all other hotels or inns or B&Bs who were insisting on a minimum two night stay over the weekend, Toll Road Inn had no such requirements. Booking over the phone was very easy and we received an email confirmation.
The Inn is very well located, about 10 minutes from the middle of Manchester Center and is very close to restaurants and shops. The couple, who own and run the Inn, are very nice and helpful. The room with two double beds was big, modern and looked recently refurbished. The WiFi was free and strong. The outdoor pool was closed for the season, however they have a hot tub, which they opened up for me and my son at a moments notice and provided fresh towels.
The complimentary breakfast consisted of oranje juice, cereals, bagels, bread and muffins. It was served in a very nice room constructed with logs with a big natural fireplace.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The four of us stayed at the Toll Road Inn July 17-19 and found the place an exceptional hotel. In addition, the owners of the place we very accommodating and nice, we enjoyed our chats with them. We loved the home made blueberry muffins, yum. Most of the time hotels do not have anything homemade to serve with their Continental Breakfasts. The rooms were immaculate and very spacious. The pool was sparkling clean. We spent a lot of time at the pool after a hot day on the golf course. The flowers at the Toll Roll Inn were marvelous, like out of a magazine. I would definitely stay there again.
