You walk in an notice immediately the tablecloths and glasses. Clean and elegant. Food authentically spiced but not so hot you cannot taste the ingredients. Service is friendly and attentive. The room is intimate but well lit with windows on both sides. We had lunch and if we had been in Manchester longer would have returned for dinner. Don't miss this gem!

My sons and I visited Thai Basil during a recent ski trip to Vermont. It is a small restaurant, so I would recommend reservations. Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive to the children. After a long day of skiing we were hungry and the food did not disappoint. Though the portions were not huge, they were just enough to feel satisfied. We could have just eaten off of the appetizer menu, but decided to try and entree or two. The Pad Thai was delicious and the Kanom Jeep was great. Appetizers range in price from $5 to $12 and entrees $15 to $28. While not inexpensive it was reasonably priced for the freshness and quality of the food. Added bonus it is attached to a Martini bar!

Great flavor (though it's less spicy than they claim), the portions are very generous and I loved the dinnerware! Very affordable too.

Thai Basil is a great restaurant in Manchester Center. The food is phenomenal, and the staff is great. It can be a bit pricey, but it's certainly worth every penny.

Well prepared, creative Thai food in a cute little Vermont town. Very busy but they sat us without a reservation on Saturday night -- lucky us!! Go for the Mango Curry, delicious and a little unusual. Chicken larb was delicious. Default spice is not very much by Thai standards, so if you want it hot, tell them. Shrimp spring roll had a whole large shrimp in it, a nice surprise. Service was harried on this super-busy night, but knew it and were friendly to make up for it. Nice wine list.
