We ate dinner on a Tuesday night in March 2013. This place is a gem! It has a great menu of both traditional mexican dishes and some really yummy looking BBQ items. There are even entree's that seek to combine the mexican flair with the BBQ items...like a burrito filled with pulled pork!
The mexican food here is very innovative. It is not your usual refried rice and beans. The mexican flavors are fresh, and unique! My date informs me the Margarita's are awesome too! They offer several entree's that could be considered, light, healthy fare which is hard to find in the commericial mexican restaurants, like Chevy's.
The guacamole is home made and awesome!
They serve hot home made corn tortilla chips and flour tortilla chips. They are really good, but also fried (fat bomb alert) and will potentially undo any good of ordering a healthy entree :-(
The check for two persons, no appetizer and one cocktail was $52.00... a bit pricey, but worth it for fresh, innovative Mexican fare.
