Description: this used to be Maxwell's Flat Road Grill, which sold about a month ago, and by the way, is MUCH better, you really need to list it, btw, I am a regular, but that is neither here nor there. They are doing very well with both locals and tourists which is a welcome change, phone number is the same, owner is Susan and Jon French, please give them visibility on this site, for the record, this location has a deep and long history, starting as the Taco House in the 70's- 80's, OTL (Out to Lunch) in the 80's-90's, then Maxwell the past 9 years , now Firefly. People still come in and call it the Taco House, imagine that,,, regards, wmfox@att.net if any questions

Lots of beers on tap and friendly atmosphere. We stop in often for the wings but I also love the burgers and my husband is a big fan of their homemade soups. When we travel we are always on the lookout for places as special as Firefly. Top rate!!!

We stopped here for a late lunch on Black Friday and the place was pretty crowded (at 2:30 p.m.). Two TVs at the bar, both with different sports shows. We sat in a booth, which was comfy. It feels like the place can't decide whether it wants to be a hip Mediterranean tapas place, a family restaurant, or a sports bar ... There were about 10-15 people at the bar, and they were having a very lively and loud time watching the games. There were also a number of families with small children sitting in booths and at tables.

The menu offers appetizers, burgers (including veggie burger), dinner entrees, sandwiches (Reuben and similar), a few salads and soups, chili, and tapas. We went the tapas route and got a tequila-lime shrimp dish with rice, which was very fragrant and tasted great (smoky shrimp, highly flavoured rice and sauce), and the rosemary potatoes, which was a generous portion of about 20-25 potato pieces. Unfortunately, they were out of the crab fritters. There was also a shrimp in garlic sauce offered, and a mussels dish, and some sort of steak tapas. We also got two small house salads, which consisted of an abundance of leafy greens, cucumbers, red onions, and chunky carrots, as well as big chunks of tasteless tomatoes; mine came with a good creamy cilantro dressing.

There are only 8 beers on tap, but the selection included Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada Porter, Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, Switchback, and some others.

Service was pretty good. We got our food in a timely manner, though I overheard others complaining about the slow service and food delivery.

All in all, this place worked for us as an easy place to grab a quick bite, good beer, and some lively atmosphere.

great draft list and highly recommend the fries with cheese and gravy...a guilty pleasure. The portions are large and a great value.
