Description: Garlic John's, a local favorite, is a long-established chef-owned regional Italian restaurant located in the Southern Green Mountains minutes away from ski resorts and shopping. Our extensive menu features something for everyone. We also offer daily savory specials using seasonal ingredients, and our full bar provides a warm dining atmosphere. Outside dining on the veranda is available during the summer months. Our family-friendly atmosphere offers a children's menu and take-out is always available.

An Italian restaurant which is the real deal. Large menu with something for everyone, although the daily special often trumps all. Full bar, casual setting with beautiful view of the mountains. Outdoor patio available. Entrees in the $16 to $25 range. Crisp salads with dressings prepared in house. Professional, friendly exemplary wait staff.

Food is consistently excellent. Multiple visits each year are a must. Despite the name, garlic in the dishes is not required. A friend needs gluten free dishes and they gladly accomodate. Another friend has a deadly peanut allergy and they again do a great job accomodating.

As my title says, one of my favorites for sure. Very consistent through many years and many visits.

Been there four times, every time everyone at the table liked they meals plenty. Nice fresh food.

Wine list stinks, no peroni beer... But other than that what can u say when everyone on a four top likes their food on four different occasions?

Totally recommend.

We love Italian food and the name of the restaurant caught our attention. It took ages for them to take our order and then even longer for the food to be delivered. A pizza was dry, hard and overcooked. The only 'high point' was the gorganzola salad dressing that the restaurant has won awards for. The cappuccino machine was broken and the wait staff didn't make us feel welcome or valued. Give this restaurant a miss. We went there on our last day in Manchester, and there are other eateries that have better quality food and service with more competitive prices.

I was dissapointed overall in this restaurant. Had remembered it positively from a trip many years ago so stopped in on a Friday night in late March. No snow, so not crowded. Service was a bit slow to start with. My appetizer was fried calamari. It tasted like it was frozen, not fresh and it was doughy and bland with no crunch. The horseradsih aoli sauce that came with it tasted soley of maionaise. I asked for some marinaro sauce instead. My main dish was a seafood stew including clams and mussells over a bed of linguini. THe clams were very tough but the mussells were delicious. My wifes meal was better. She had a pasta filled with mushroom paste. Delicious!
All in all, for the price I thought it was below average.

Nice selection of food. I had the lemon chicken which was good but the rice service with it was bland and cold.
