Our car broke down just outside of town and we did a search for a place to stay and decided on this one based on reviews on Expedia and Trip Advisor. We are so glad we did! We booked one night, hoping our car would be fixed that day. But when we found out there was going to be a delay, they added another night, but for less than what we paid through Expedia! The general manager, Vinnie, was really friendly and offered us a ride to our car at the repair shop so we could grab some necessities for another night. Although he is fairly new to this area, he was kind enough to offer some suggestions for things to do. Sue, who covered the desk on the first night, also gave us plenty of suggestions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and their breakfast offerings, though nothing fancy, and the coffee and tea throughout the day were perfect. There is a microwave in the ice room we can use, along with bowls and utensils in the lounge, and our room also had a mini fridge. They have a nice pool, shuffleboard, and other outdoor activities, and inside they have puzzles and board games. The motel is within walking distance of the outlet malls, restaurants, and stores, and I think this would be a perfect place to stay if we wanted to go skiing nearby. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a reasonably large room with two queen beds. Amenities are fine, even a small fridge in the room which was great for us with a cooler of food to keep fresh. The staff/managers here are really great people, and they were very kind to let us check in early (we ended up here when our car broke down just outside of town). Decent continental style breakfast in the morning. So yes, it's a motel and looks like it was very modern in about 1970 ;) but it has a sort of Vermont charm that we have enjoyed. Everything is very clean and well-kept, including the pool. A short walk to the downtown area with outlet shopping and plenty of good restaurants, and a large book store which I gather is locally famous.

Our room was larger than most motel rooms, bright and clean. The bathroom was a full bathroom, with a dressing area right outside, with an additional sink, coffee maker and small fridge. Adding to the homey feeling, were two chairs and a small table right outside the room. The grounds were well kept, with pool, lounge chairs, shuffleboard and badminton for those families who like some activities, plus a couple of picnic tables. Our only criticism was the beds--they were a bit soft for us. But on the plus side, the linens were all laundered with fragrance free detergent. All in all, a delightful place and delightful weekend. Would certainly return.

This is a motel but certainly one of the better ones. The room was clean, spacious, and bright. The bed was comfortable and there was a table with two chairs and lamp for reading. Shower was a tad cramped.

Susan at reception was friendly and welcoming.

It’s walkable into town for hardy walkers. Excellent value for the price.

Great motel! Owners very friendly with great senses of humor. The room was large, very comfortable and had a small fridge which was great to keep water and snacks. Also two sinks so plenty of room to get ready in the morning. Beautiful swimming pool and property. It made our stay in Vermont perfect. Will definitely be back.
