The Wilburton Inn is a gracious, elegant, and most welcoming destination for any visitor to Vermont. The grounds are magnificent, and the Inn is as charming and comfortable as any place I have ever stayed. Definitely plan dinner in the dining room. The chef is superior and the food is scrumptious. The Innkeepers Georgette and Albert will make you feel that you have known them forever. A definite return trip.

My wife and I got married with a small group at the inn, and it could not have gone any better. The staff was very attentive to our needs, and the the owners (Georgette and Albert) were very hospitable. The Inn has a casual yet elegant feel, which is exactly what we wanted. Scot, who made the arrangements for us in terms of the wedding, went out of his way to make sure things went as we wanted. The grounds of the inn are very interesting the views (in my opinion) are the best in town. I would highly recommend the Wilburton to anyone looking for a casual, quiet getaway. The innkeepers make you feel right at home. Tell Georgette and Albert that Mike and Laura sent you! You won't regret the visit.

My companion and I and two other couples stayed at the Wilburton Inn to attend a wedding held there. What a delightful surprise it was to see such a charming Inn with beautiful mountain views. The owner, his wife and the entire staff were so friendly and made us feel quite at home right away. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable.

My family, numerous extended family members and dozens of friends had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Wilburton Inn August 6-9 while we were in Manchester celebrating our son's wedding at Hildene. We could not have been more pleased with the accomodations and the service. Our rooms were spacious and clean with marvelous mountain views; the staff, from the initial greeting to the final goodbye were extremely gracious and attentive to all of our needs. The country breakfasts we enjoyed every morning, which are included in the room rate, were sumptious feasts, cooked to perfection and presented with pride and care. We also took advantage of the Wilburton's delightful setting and hosted a 140 person pre-wedding Pig Roast event there, which was a delicious success from the beginning to the end, thanks again to the efficient, attentive Wilburton staff.
We would highly recommend The Wilburton Inn for anyone considering a gathering spot in Manchester and we are looking forward to returning there for visits for years to come.

Arriving at 5pm for a weekend stay, we were warmly greeted by Georgette. We checked into our room at the Twenties Villa and returned to the Mansion for dinner. Albert gave us a brief but informative tour of the first floor, and then we entered the dining room, where we were greeted by Max, our server. Max very capably described the menu selections, noting that the organic produce was from their garden, maintained by Zach, whom we also met. Our menu selections were the delicious creations of their chef Diedier (such as the crab-avocado salad). Our room was very comfortable and had a grand view – an intoxicating view in the morning with the clouds slowly lifting from the Battenkill valley to the tops of the mountains. Our breakfast was delicious also, served by the jovial Len who could offer practical advice on a variety of topics (such as fly fishing and kayaking). The Wilburton captures what one would expect from the term “Grand Estate”.
