We had heard about Zoey's for many years, but never got the chance to eat lunch while in Manchester. We worked out at the Manchester Gym, went shopping and were starved about 1:45PM and then decided to head to Zoey's - our first chance to experience what everybody had been raving about for years. The line was long and the dining area packed. After seeing the size of the sandwiches people had in front of us, we decided to order and split a half sandwich and a bowl of soup (butternut squash soup). Good thing we did - both were absolutely amazingly fresh and delicious. We are hearty eaters and it was just enough without being overly stuffed. Since we had planned a full dinner out at the Ye Old Tavern - this was perfect for us. I would have ordered the full sandwich if it were earlier in the day or would have saved half for later - it was that good. My comments of Fresh-fresh-fresh and delicious sum up our experience at Zoey's deli and bakery.
While we were eating the dining room was emptying out and when we headed out of Zoey's Deli to head to our hotel (Inn at Ormsby Hill) we noticed a "Closed" sign on the door. We arrive just in time as they are only open: 10:30-2:00pm. We were lucky to have made it there in time and thoroughly enjoyed our visits/lunch.
