Got a room at the equinox that was not in the main hotel because none were left. But when we arrived we had been upgraded due to the blizzard that was coming through. So we actually got to stay in the main hotel! Our room was a spacious one bedroom with bathroom. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom had white towels and fluffy robes. They also had good bath products and a variety of toiletries to use. The hallways were clean and the lobby of the hotel was beautiful. There were apples, donuts, & coffee in the morning to grab on your way out. We had a good nights sleep before heading to Stratton each day. The cars are valeted so you just call to have your car ready. Which was quick. The hotel had couples, families, and singles. All sorts of age groups were present. They have two bars and restaurants. We were trapped one night due to the storm so we dined at the hotel. Our bartender was great & so was the food. Service at this hotel was great to, the staff was friendly and eager to help. Had a wonderful stay and would stay here again!

Room Tip: Booked on hotels.com and got upgraded when we arrived. Had a room facing trees. Nice & quiet.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Equinox. We arrived at around 11am to see if we could check-in early or use the spa facilities. My husband was going skiing and I wanted to stay in. Surprisingly our room was ready. The check-in staff was courteous and friendly, he also signed me up for the Starwoods rewards and gave us an upgrade deluxe room and a $20 gift certificate for the spa. It worked out perfect!

This hotel has complimentary valet so do take advantage of that. The concierge was very helpful during our stay. He booked us the Falconry lesson.

Our room was immaculate and well appointed. It had a plush king size bed, views of the courtyard and mountains, high ceiling, and a nice big bathroom with bathrobes. I enjoyed a relaxing day in the room, very quiet and although there were kids and family I didn't mind it.

We used the spa facilities, they have a nice long indoor pool and an outside hot tub. The one thing we didn't like is that kids were using the hot tub, they really should not allow that. I blame parents as much as I blame the staff. We were trying to enjoy the hot tub and these kids and teens are just being loud and obnoxious, parents should know better. Thankfully the lockers and spa area are for adults only. The women lockers have a sauna and steam room, they provide you with towels and toiletries. There is a common waiting area for the spa with water and tea.

I had a therapeutic massage for 50 minutes, I highly recommend. It was a perfect way to end our vacation.

At night we didn't hear any noise although there were families staying near our room. We decided to go for a late night drink at the Falcon bar. We made it just before closing time and the bartender didn't mind serving us :-).

Overall it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff from the valet, check-in, spa, concierge were outstanding.

After pondering where to stay in Manchester, my girlfriend and I chose the Equanox as it has been around forever and thought it would be a relaxing stay.....wrong! The hotel needs to have a waiver for children under a particular age, because they are running around the hallways screaming for what seems all day and night with zero parental supervision. The hotel is over 200 years so the whole building shakes while its playtime in halls. If you want to have a good nights sleep I would suggest you go to the townhouses or somewhere else. Hard to pass off as a luxury hotel with no management on this matter.

you can't beat this property for an easy getaway from the nyc area - 4 hours and you are there and you feel like you've stepped back in time to a bygone era of gracious living - 2 nights feels like being away for a week...we were there last year at just about this same time - for a quick ski weekend. we just got back last night from this year's jaunt. the hotel is simply lovely and the updated rooms are charming and comfy. getting to stratton and bromley is so easy and stress free. of course the trip also included delicious meals and some decent outlet shopping! we usually like to stay in ski-on, ski-off properties but the the east coast ski world sadly lacks any that are really luxurious - so the equinox is totally the place to go.

This was our fourth visit to Equinox, and each time has been more spectacular. The place is totally renovated, updated, love the outdoor fire pit and the spa is fabulous. Manchester is a charming town to visit, and the resort and surrounding restaurants are fantastic. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I went there for our anniversary last summer and for a quick weekend getaway this past January, we've also taken our kids there twice. It's a quick drive from NY and worth the trip.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms are duplexes, and very spacious. Sometimes the hotel will upgrade based upon avail...

This was our first stay at the Equinox. We will be back. The valet/ bellman were great. Overall, no complaints about service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were in the area to do some skiing. The hotel is located just a short drive from Stratton and Bromley. Definitely a good choice.

Superb hotel. Immaculate, enormous rooms with top beddings, renovated marble baths and 9 foot ceilings with crown moldings, beautiful window treatments. The Spa is superb with a full size heated pool, outdoor hot tub and beautiful spa facilities.

The staff is top tier - attentive, helpful, and friendly. I've been lucky to stay at 5 star hotels in NY, London, and Tokyo and Equinox is as good or better as any of them in every way. I put this hotel on par with St. Regis in NY in room quality, staff quality, and restaurant quality.

We came for skiing at nearby Stratton, and I expect we will we back in the summer. The setting, at the base of he majestic Mt. Equinox, is spectacular.

You will pay to stay here, but you won't be disappointed.
