“Beautiful B&B with Great Accomodations and Great Food!!”
Reviewed March 11, 2010

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Wildflower with several friends and absolutely loved it!! The inn and grounds are picturesque and very well run. The rooms felt newly renovated and were clean and comfortable, plus they offered great views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. With a new chef in the kitchen, the dinner menu rivaled that of the Boston hot spots with a warm and inviting ambiance and the breakfast was the best I've had at a B&B. While there isn't much snow left in the valley, Burke mountain had some of the best spring conditions I've seen in New England. Even if you don't want to leave the inn, they have an expansive grounds for exploring and offer activities throughout the day! The Wildflower was both great for a group of adult friends and seemed like it would be great for families!

Great inn on beautiful property.

Pros:
- Beautiful setting
- Great food (and free full breakfast!)
- Lots of activities on the hotel grounds
- Friendly staff
- Peaceful and relaxing

Cons:
- Rooms are a bit dated
- No T.V. in rooms
- Bed wasn't too comfortable
- Pool heater was broken, so no one was using the pool

Overall a great positive stay, loved the inn and would recommend it to anyone

Spectacular setting in a quiet, non-touristy area. Friendly staff. Lots to do both onsite and off; the avid mountaineer or the peaceful book lover will be equally pleased by the Wildflower and Northeast Kingdom vicinity. Very family-friendly but not exclusively so--great spot for couples, reunions, gatherings of friends as well. It's easy to take day trips from here, but it's even nicer to remain right on site.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed with your family. We have a 12 year old son and a 2 year old. Both children had a wonderful time. Our oldest boy went mountain biking with my husband, used the batting cage, played tennis, swam in the pool, played air hockey, and hiked. Our 2 year old played in the children's playroom, used the children's barn with slide and maze inside, petted the animals in the animal barn, played on the outside playscapes, used the sandbox and swam in the kiddie pool. The built in children sprinklers alongside the beautiful inground pool were great fun too. In the afternoon we all enjoyed the lemonade and ice tea, cheese-crackers and homemade chocolate chip cookies that were left out in the Main Inn. We ate at Junipers for dinner which was great and had the full breakfast which was provided each morning. Besides taken a horse drawn wagon ride right on the property we used the outdoor hot tub and the stars were incredible in the night sky. As a special treat....My husband and son both had spa services at the Stepping Stone Spa next door and they loved it too. The property of the Wildflower Inn is well maintained and beautiful. Nothing beats this heavenly country place.. Besides the wonderful time.....The Staff and owners were all extremely nice. We will surely be back again.

We stayed for the Butterflies, Tots & Forget-me-nots program as we have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. The kids LOVED staying at the Children's Barn and we loved the free time it gave us. The Inn is beautiful and the land it sits on is incredibly beautiful. All of the staff were friendly and nice. We felt like we were staying at a relatives house. Even though it rained a bit while we were there we still found plenty of activities to keep us busy, even napping! The food in Junipers was great and the kids loved the cookies at 3pm!
