“Outstanding family diner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

This is a friendly family run diner in northern Vermont . Top noch service, full of locals and those passing through, it is a place not to be missed. Very reasonable prices. We has the home style turkey dinner and it was like having thanksgiving.

“Not as good as the last time...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

While the service was attentive, our orders were delivered incorrectly. We chose to keep what we got as it wasn't a huge issue (sides were wrong - after much discussion about subbing out coleslaw for other items, we got the coleslaw anyway...). Our sandwiches were alright - standard diner fare. I did have a nice piece of pecan pie, and my husband had apple pie a la mode. It is a diner, expect diner food. Regulars are noticed and taken care of with a bit more care (expected, of course!).

“Very blah-judging from other reviews, should have stuck to breakfast food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

My husband really likes to eat at diners, which I usually don't mind. On a quick trip to Vermont, though, I was very sad that one of our few dining experiences was this one. Though service was very quick and attentive, the food we ordered was tasteless, watery, and bland. We both opted for the special, which was a white fish (haddock?) with tomato, basil, and feta. It could have been good, but it wasn't. The roll that was brought out with the salad had the characteristics of bread that had been microwaved too long, and the salad looked to be a stack of iceberg lettuce with a single carrot stick, a piece of green pepper, some cucumbers, and a couple of tomato wedges that did not look very fresh, even though it was summer. The mashed potatoes on the side were thin and did not seem to contain any milk, butter, or salt. When you go out to eat, and feel like you could have whipped up something much tastier on your own for much less money, it is disappointing. And I am hardly the Barefoot Contessa. Wish I'd ordered breakfast for dinner instead.

“On the way to Quebec City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

Had a nice breakfast at the Miss Lyndonvill Diner on our way from Boston to Quebec. The frenchtoast and pancakes are excellent and the waitstaff is very good. The home fries are a little bland, but overall it's a great diner where a lot of the locals eat breakfast. Would definitely eat here agin if I was in the area or on my way to Quebec City.

“Perfect eggs and bacon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013

This was probably one of the finest breakfast meals that we have ever had.
The eggs were cooked perfectly, to our request, as well as the crispy bacon
and corn beef hash was delicious. The cost was very reasonable.Service was
fast and friendly. Seemed to be the place where everyone frequents.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
