We went here with a group of friends and we thought it was the best place in all of East Burke.

“Pretty Good but Not Great”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2010

First of all the service we received from our waiter was fantastic. One of the best wait people I've seen - friendly and efficient.

The food was pretty good although one of our group had scallops which they feel may have been off. The kids split a steak and it was cooked as requested and accompanied by tasty garlic mashed potatoes. The baked stuff scrimp were good. They also have a nice selection of beers. The desert sampler was excellent. The view from the patio and porch are fantastic but don't sit next to the porch door as it squeaks and slams.

“Plan in advance and request the outside patio”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2010

The food at Junipers is lovely - many homemade selections and localvore food options - which make you feel good about dining there. Lots of fish/beef selections along with a handful of vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly . Inside there is an area for family dining that works well for young families, the patio on a summer evening is perfection.

“Small - good service!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2009

Although the dinner we ate at Juniper's was not really good, the breakfasts there were outstanding! It's small, so service is generally good; although service for the evening meal wasn't as good as at breakfast.

“Not worth the price!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2009

This place came highly recommended by the Motel we were staying at (turns out it is owned by the same people). Based on the nice dining room and interesting menu, we thought we were in for a real ‘Fine Dining’ experience. It fell way short! The food was mediocre at best. My steak was small, overdone, tough, and had almost no flavor. The kid’s meals were tiny and unexciting. My wife was satisfied with her salad at least, but overall none of the meals were worth what we paid for them. A bright spot was the wine list; it had a good variety of quality labels. The service was another bright spot, very friendly. Overall, I can’t help but wonder if the people who eat there the most are guests of the Wildflower and tolerate the food because it is included in their package?
