We had made a reservation for 7p.m. and we were seated promptly on arrival. After locating our waitress, we had asked her if they still had the speciality drink menu, a menu we have ordered off in the past. She went to get it for us and returned 20 minutes later. When she returned, we ordered both drinks and our main meal because we were all hungry. While waiting, we saw others around us receiving baskets of bread, so we tracked our waitress down to get a basket and was told it's baking and we'd have to wait. She returned at about 8pm with the bread basket-four rolls with four small pats of butter for four of us! She never came around again to ask us for a wine order or another round of drinks or more bread. She sent someone out with our dinners, who promptly "auctioned them off" because he didn't know who ordered what. She never checked to see if our steaks were cooked to order or to see if our food was okay. Our meal was served at 8:30pm-almost an hour and half after we had been seated. The food was excellent! The service will make us think twice before we go back. The bill totaled $163.00 for a beer, a bloody mary, two martinis and four dinners. We enjoyed the short ribs, filet mignon, salmon, and pork roast. For the price, our service should have been much better!

Came to dinner with a group - sat at two tables. Orders were taken for both tables- one table was eventually served and finished eating before second table was even served. Restaurant was not that busy. Waited 1 1/2 hours for meals which were cold when served. Made the mistake of coming back the next morning for breakfast - wait wasn't quite as long but we were never able to get a second cup of coffee - asked three different servers one of which eventually told us that they were making more coffee even though the table next was being served coffee. Don't think it's very well managed. Painful experience both times.

I have only had lunch here, but the lunch food is better that I have had at any other east coast mountain (ditto for Epic at the solitude base...I alternate between the 2). The lunch prices are similar to the cafeteria in a spacious upscale setting. Service can be slow.

We were a group of 4 adults for dinner one evening. We specifically asked not to be seated near a family with children since we didn't need the antics that accompany that scenerio. Ten minutes later they seated two families with 5 kids next to us. There were plenty of other tables available. Two of us ordered halibut and it was truly awful. The rest of the meals were just okay. Needless to say, we are done.

We ate here at one of the busiest times for the resort - Feb vacation. The atmosphere was very interesting - upscale but the clientele, at least for lunch, is very much not. The cozy chairs were nice but felt out of place since everyone was dressed for skiing. It would have been nice to have more room to put ski stuff - layers, bags, etc. The service was awesome, very friendly, fast.

However, the food was subpar. The cafeteria has better food and is cheaper. It seemed pricey for what we got, my shepards pie was more a soup than pie, and was not filling at all. At least for lunch they need to take into account the amount of energy being spent on the slopes, bigger portions and a salad would have been expected with the high cost of the meal. Hopefully they will improve next year.
