Homade all the way, awesome sauce an pizza and the vermont homade gelato was so creamy and good. Best Pizza in town for sure. The owner has great business ethics and went out his way to make sure we had a great meal...if we're ever bcak in this town we'll be back for sure,,,you gotta try this place,,,quick tip though ,,,it's cash only, as it is with many small buisnesses in this VT town. Great VT hospitality from everyone we
met.

Okay. First the decor is horrible. The place is NOT clean. Semi prepared pizzas are in the aisle as you come in. No Parking (street only). This is as soon as you walk in.
Now when you sit down. The three workers tell you must come to the counter to order.
That's when some weird guy starts talking to your children and wife. Over and Over again.
Soo...... Even after you order the creepy guys starts talking to you like a Drunk from Family Guy. Now you learn it is Cash Only and they don't serve wine or beer.
So: if you like dirty creepy places where your semi-prepared pizza sits out where anyone could cough or sneeze on it, no atmosphere, no wine/beer, or no parking, it is your place. I thought my wife was actually going to PUNCH me for going that far. We left went to arizona pizza where at least they want to be a restaurant.
Not sure what the good reviews were about. Everyone knows the best pizza in the WORLD is Wooster St. in New Haven not NY/NJ blah blah. Seriously, how good could left out pizza be any good???????/

We got 2 pies. Plain cheese and pepperoni. They were both great. We are from NJ/NY and are pretty picky about our pizza, but this place is as good as our home town pizza places.

It is CASH only.

My girl friend and I are delf-described "pizza-holics" ! We make our pizza, we live across from a pizza shop, and we eat it at least once a week. We have tried almost every pizza shop in the Rutland area, and Goddman's pizza is the best all around. His cheese is specially made and has an excellent bite and taste. The pepperoni is tangy and spicy, and his sauce is just right with chunks of tomatoes. Combine that with his fresh dough crust cooked in a real wood fired oven that cooks the pizza from up and down, and you got the best pizza you can imagine ! We drive an hour each way to enjoy his pizza. Craif is a master pizza maker and his assistants can make pizza just as well (and even better-Gretchen !) than him. If you want the best pizza we've discovered so far in Vermont, go to Goodman's. His hours vary, so call first.
