This small farm in the middle of nowhere, is the only Gouda maker in VT. Cows get milked about 4pm if you want to see that (we missed it). We walked into the little shop which had a window into the cheese making room. The entire tour was through that window! We tasted the cheese they had out and had no issues opening ones that weren't out for us to try. They had other local items for sale, including awesome ice cream sandwiches. It was lovely to just sit on the stone wall looking at the lush landscape while we snacked under the tree.
