A cozy and relaxed restaurant and pub. A place you will want to linger. We ate in the pub (the restaurant was closed on Wed). The bar tender, Owen keeps everyone satisfied. He pours pints of Guinness in the “proper style”, including the shamrock in the head.
The menu is definitely American but the Irish items are excellent. The Guinness Beef Stew, Shepherd’s Pie and Corn Beef all got rave reviews at our table. Our only regret is that we shared (table of 5) a single serving of the Double Chocolate Soda Bread Pudding. Full portions are a requirement for next time.
The atmosphere is cozy “Vermont”, a little shabby in spots, but definitely a place to return to. And most certainly worth the short drive off the Killington Road if your skiing.
