“Thanksgiving dinner...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012 via mobile

We ate here for Thanksgiving dinner. We had drinks first at the bar which was not that busy since it was Thanksgiving but the bartender was very nice. We then sat down later to eat dinner. We both had the turkey dinner which was pretty good and also a good value (the serving was huge). So all in all a nice place with decent food and nice staff.

“Pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2012

We don't often venture up on the mountain for dinner but decided to give Casey's a try. Glad we did! We started with PEI mussels in an obviously freshly made tomato, shallot and garlic wine sauce. A cold, crisp fresh side salad with a perfect Zinfandel vinaigrette followed. But the hit of the night was some of the best St. Louis-style ribs we've ever had! They smoke the ribs and pulled pork right out back of the restaurant and serve them with fantastic, zesty homemade BBQ sauce, nice crispy sweet potato fries and grilled fresh asparagus. Generous portions and wines by the glass were reasonably priced, too. Now we can't wait to go back!

“Cute, train-themed place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

This was a cute place which is made out of some old train cars. Kids enjoyed the theming. Food was good, not great. Satisfactory, but nothing really interesting or creative. They had crab legs on the night we were there, which is always good (but again not creative or complicated). Service was good and waiters were friendly. Would consider eating here again.

“A Rainy night in Killington Vermont”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

I dropped my wife off under the awning leading to the entrance, where she met a lady from Switzerland (our son is at ETH in Zurich, small world). We asked how was the food -she answered - Great!

It was a thursday night and raining, and the place wasn't very crowded. Our waitress was a wonderful local and took the time to really talk to us. We learned that the rains from hurricane Irene(2011) had turned Killington into an island because all the roads in/out of Killington were washed out for almost a week. Hopefully, it didn't happen again this year!

And by the way the food was excellent!
