A lovely December 14th weekend was spent in Killington, Vermont, with a group of folks who traveled from as far as Boston, Connecticut, and New York. An American Holiday event, was planned by Natalia, of Vermontology. On Friday night a guest reception with soup, salads, other delectable offerings, and an evening of live musical entertainment. Saturday morning after a full breakfast, choices of discounted Killington ski passes, dog sledding, snowshoeing, or cross country skiing were available. Mind you, the snow was perfect! On Saturday evening, folks mingled for a bit, then supper.... We had a melt in your mouth buffet combination of Holiday fare and the desserts were scrumptious! Afterward, there was caroling around the piano, followed by friendly people making new connections, well into the wee hours. Sunday arrived much too soon. Another hearty breakfast, goodbye hugs, well wishes, and all left having made new friends. This reviewer and his mother had a ball! Vermontology is well known for custom Vermont tours, shared from a European perspective. If anyone wants to see the Best of Vermont,I highly recommend the folks at Vermontology. They seem to do everything with class and exceed all expectations!
