Description: In the heart of Killington, Vermont, on the banks of the Summit Pond, lies The Foundry. This new addition to the Access Road provides the best in cuisine, entertainment, activities, and scenery! The Foundry offers two menus, an American Bistro-Style menu in the dining room, and a Tavern menu in the bar. The atmosphere of the dining room will surround you with warmth and relaxation, but feel free to keep the party going in the Tavern where we will offer live entertainment a few nights a week. Look forward to year-round activities on the pond, from ice skating and skate rentals this winter, to paddle boat races and Foundry Fly Dogs in the summer! Our outdoor seating will be heated, and open this winter, so come grab a chair and enjoy some of the best views in Killington!

Enjoyed a lovely meal here. We were staying at Summit Lodge so it was literally a 2 minute walk here. This is more of a bar type restaurant. It was a little pricey and they have fine dining menu items at almost fine dining prices but a pub ambiance.
The food was good.
We had tuna tartare - $12, excellent. Crab cake $12, also extremely good.
Entree of filet mignon which was $39, nothing spectacular. I expect more with a filet mignon.
This was fair a place to eat but I'm not blown away. It was a matter of convenience.

The food was very good and the setting is beautiful. Service was very slow for our table of 7 people.

I often wander in solo, sit at the bar and enjoy a margarita or a local Roaring Brook Brewery beer, and check out the Chef Miller's delicious menu for an app or light bite, had pork shanks last time, delicious! Also enjoy the oysters at happy hour, sit outside next to Summit Pond and enjoy the view!

Although this place is huge, dining areas have been well thought out and divided into several areas, one a slightly more typical formal seating, with a wall separating the diners in the large bar area. the Foundry also takes advantage of it's location overlooking a small pond by also offering outdoor seating, The menu was varied I had a spinach salad and Crab cake and my husband the maui-mahi sandwich, both were excellent, the wine selection was adequate, and the service attentive... Nice spot.

We arrived around 9 pm on a Saturday night in July and ate in the bar area The restaurant/ bar atmosphere is very nice.

The food quality is very good. In particular, the sausage and bean soup was very good. The crabcake was also very good; it consisted mostly crab and very little bread--just like I like it.

For dessert we enjoyed cheesecake of the day, which was a raspberry and mint cheesecake made by the restaurant's pastry chef. It was very light and we loved the taste of the fresh raspberries and mint.

Our waiter was also very attentive and professional.

I recommend this place.
