After many years in Killington, we wanted to try something new. Best experience we've had. Sorry it took so long to find. Ryan and Tom made us feel as if we were old time regulars. Excellent food, excellent service and awesome bread pudding. Can't wait to get back.

A very different feel compared to other bar / restaurants on the mountain. This years menu has more on it and what I have tried so far is very good. Good friendly staff and the miserable barman has gone. Highly recommended. Oh yes, it's On The Rocs.

As some of the other reviewers noted, On The Rocs has a much better atmosphere than most places in Killington. We recently bought a condo in Killington and have been trying every restaurant in the area to find the best. So far, On The Rocs has the nicest atmosphere and the tastiest drinks. The bar is really beautiful and the employees are really, really great. Besides, you have to check out their cool bathrooms. We ordered about 8 different items from the menu and they were all very good. The only tiny thing I would say is that the food needed to be "finished." (ie: the eggplant salad had two drops of their balsamic type drizzle and it really should have been drizzled over the entire tower. The tuna tataki needed some acid too along with the offer of some fresh cracked pepper or something - next time I'll just ask, but my hubby and I totally agreed that finishing the dishes would make this place perfect.) One thing that was perfectly fantastic was the crispy brussel sprout tapas. YUMMY! Big tapas portions by the way...you will leave stuffed at a very decent price! We will go here again!

What more is there to say? Excellent all around but especially good for foodies. Good drinks, wine & beer, too.

Finally a Killington restaurant where the food is as exciting, adventurous and fun as the mountain. Anyone familiar with Killington area restaurants knows that they are OK, but nothing to write home about. On the Rocs changes that. Great tapas selection, (tapas regulars should know that the portions are closer to appetizer/small meal size), they also serve wonderful entrees, interesting drinks and specials too.

Last Sunday I had the Cream of Cauliflower soup, with leeks and fennel, with a roaster red pepper balsamic drizzle. It was fantastic, the serving size large enough for a small amount to be taken back for next day apres-ski snack. When I went to heat the soup, I found they had given me a full pint-sized container!!! Great surprise, and great for 2 more days of enjoyment.

If you want to add some not the run-of-the-mill fare to your Killington vacation, you must add On the Rocs to your trip, you won't be disappointed. If you're lucky, Alex will serve you. She's full of great suggestions and knowledge of ingredients and preparation, if that sort of thing interests you.
