“Enjoy a challenging but very fair course amidst the beautiful Vermont mountains”
Reviewed August 31, 2013

Green Mountain National is a very well laid out course, utilizing the hills and valleys of the Killington area to best advantage. The course is usually in terrific condition, and the friendly staff will help you get off to a good start. The course can be played at any distance you choose, as there are five or more tees every hole. We are very aware of how a course treats the women players, and Green Mountain treats them well! No unreachable carries, or needing to "hit around" some area of rough or water. The price is very reasonable for a course of this caliber, and plays even better after you've been there several times. It opens some of its secrets to you, and is still a challenge. It is well worth an hour or more ride to get there if you're not in the immediate area. Make sure you make time to enjoy this kind of hidden away treasure.

“Lived up to it's reputation”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Played both Sat and Sun. Challenging but fair from the whites. Played easier on the second day with the first day's knowledge. Staff friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with eating suggestions and other activities for the evening.

“Best Golf Course in the Area!”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

If you can handle the beauty and the hilly terrain you are in for a treat. The grounds are kept immaculate and have a open grass range. The have a little grill which is not too bad. The Pro, Alan, is notorious and great. If you are lucky you'll catch a bear sighting as we did last summer. Not your every day golf experience. If you are in the area, and you like to golf, this place is for you. I will say if you are not accustom to walking 9 or 18 this is a very hilly area and would suggest you taking a cart. Killington Golf course is even worse. What a work out!

“Great Golf Course”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

Green Mountain was in great condition. The greens were fast and the fairways in great condition. We found the Pro Shop Staff to be very professional and courteous. The scenery was spectacular. A definite return golf course!
