“Good value, comfortable, and close”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

So we found the Inn of the Six Mountains on a Google search 2 nights before taking the family to Killington for our Spring Break. It was our first time to Killington. No idea what to expect. The Inn was super easy to find - it's on the main strip, near lots of resturants. While the decor could use some updating, overall this proved to be an excellent value! The rooms are large, they have complimentary ski lockers, complimentary breakfast, complimentary shuttle to the mountain. They show movies each night in their movie room, had a big fire in the in the comfy lobby each night, and oh, yeah, complimentary movies to borrow and take back to your room (they all have DVD players). While it was nothing fancy, we were totally comfortable and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Take your hairdryer - they have them but they are they ones stuck to the wall. Not my favorite. As...

Stayed here with my girlfriend for a mid-March ski weekend. We picked this hotel for its proximity to Killington and the price. I was pleasantly surprised.

This is not a luxury hotel, but for the price it offers a lot of value. First, it is close to Killington's Snowshead base area and runs complimentary shuttles every 15 or 30 minutes in the mornings and afternoons (the trip is about five minutes). Second, it has both indoor and outdoor hottubs to enjoy after a long day on the slopes. In addition, there is a good size indoor pool big enough to swim real laps.

Our room was large with a comfortable bed and refrigerator. There is a complimentary breakfast buffet that we took advantage of. They also have a lounge where they show recent movies and a complimentary DVD lending library. There seemed to be quite a few families with young children taking advantage of the pool and movies.

The front desk could have been a bit more attentive (there was no one at the desk both when we arrived to check in and when we were checking out). This certainly isn't a five star (or even four star) hotel/resort, but for what it offers (value and location) it is probably hard to beat.

This was a great spot to stay this past weekend. The Room we had was huge - there were 4 of us sharing a sweet - but we could have easily fit several more people. While the amenities were slightly dated and the place had the feel of a ski lodge. Exactly what I expected to be honest. The room and bath room was clean, beds comfortable. Only 2 minute drive to the mountain.

Breakfast was okay, pretty much what you come to expect from a hotel for a "free" breakfast. It all depends on when you get down to the breakfast room - if you hit it at a moment when everyone is rushing to the mountain then you might have to stand in line for a bit. I've traveled a lot and have had a lot worse than this in my time.

Considering how much I saved by staying here I would say its a good deal compared to some of the other hotels that are part of the Killington resort.

My wife, two daughters (ages 12 and 8), and I stayed at the IOT6M from 2/12/2013 - 2/15/2013. We love staying on Killington Road for the 'apres-ski' and do not need to stay at some overpriced, 5-star place where you spend most of your time sleeping...IOT6M was a perfect fit. The room was clean + comfortable and my girls loved the pool and outdoor hot tub! The buffet breakfast was included and was fine for a skiers breakfast (we learned quickly to get to breakfast early because a large group would come down en-mass at 8am). IOT6M has a free ski/board check so no need to leave your equipment on or in your vehicle; the hotel also has a shuttle van to the mountain. We would definitely stay at the IOT6M again!!

Greay deal for the price. Thia isnt the ritz but it is a great deal. Rooms were kind of dated but have everything you need. 90s era tv, but has cable. Room pretty clean. Doesnt lool lile theyve updated since the 90s but clean and great value either way.
If you are spending your day skiing it is perfect just to crash. Convenient shuttle leaves/ arrives several times a day. They helped w the skis and gear. Snowshed is less than 2 mins away. Ski lockers are outside. restaurant was decent if you want a quick bite and a beer. Daily hot breakfast was decent. There are also bars and other restaurants nearby. Hot tub contained alot of chemicals and bleached our clothing. It was very refreshing though. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would stay again. Great alternative to pricey hotels surrounding in surrounding area.

The hotel is extremely close to Killington Mountain. There is a great view of the trails from the parking area (and probably some of the rooms, but not ours) There are many restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. The hotel could use some updating but met our needs. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool and my husband enjoyed the outdoor spa and poolside hot tub (which was really hot!). The continental breakfast was good. We were able to fill up on eggs, pancakes, muffins, toast etc. before heading out to the slopes. A staff member saw my younger sons and offered to make them chocolate chip pancakes, an offer they couldn't refuse! We stayed during a busy vacation week and free movies were offered each night. The bar was also open in the evenings. I didn't mind no wi-fi in the rooms because it kept the kids off of the devices for a bit. We hung out in the cozy lobby when we wanted to check email. It's definitely a skiier/boarder friendly hotel with the early breakfast, free shuttles to the mountain and ski/board storage. Finally, we managed to leave our ipad at the hotel and the staff scoured the building for it and found it!!!!!

Our family stays here every time we go skiing at Killington. It is a very good deal and includes a nice array of breakfast food. They have a very nice lobby and serve cookies daily in the afternoon. The hotel is very close to the mountain and is located near many restaurants.
