“Perfect for skiers and boarders”

Our family stayed at the Mountain Green condos between Christmas and New Year. The room was fine - basic but clean and large enough for the 6 of us to fit comfortably. The linens were crispy clean. The dishes were a little worn - eaten by the hard water and the dishwasher I assume. The location is very convenient for skiing. It is at the base of Snowshed and Ramshead, a shuttle bus comes by every 20 to 30 minutes and picks you up at the ski lockers and drives the 2 minutes to the lifts. New Years eve was a little noisy - but not impossible. The Black Dog ski rental shop is conveniently located downstairs with very friendly staff. The pool and hot tub are clean and well kept, get a little busy 'apres ski' - to be expected. We had 4 great days on the hill and the accommodation was all we needed after active days snowboarding and skiing.

Stayed at this property over Thanksgiving weekend for some early-season skiing. The location is excellent, right in the Snowshed base area with frequent shuttle service.

We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. It had a master bedroom with sitting area that had pull-out sofa, and attached bath. The 2nd bedroom is small and only contained a double bed. The living room also had a sofa bed, a very large balcony, and small dining area. The kitchen space is tiny -- which is odd because the main room was very large. There was a dishwasher.

The unit could have been cleaner. The carpets desperately needed to be steam cleaned, and the kitchen counters had some small stains. The stove and oven were clean however, and the bathrooms and linens were spotless. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. The furnishings were inexpensive hotel grade dating from the mid 1990s, but were in good condition.

The complex as a whole has a good set of amenities. All units have fireplaces and free wood is provided. As it was not a busy weekend we were able to park in the garage which was very convenient. The health club is good quality: the gym is above average and the pool/sauna/steam area is excellent. Had very good service experience with the restaurant/bar, convenience store, and especially the ski shop. Having all of these facilities directly in the main building (3) makes this complex a better value than it would be otherwise.

There is free Wi-Fi.

I would not call Mountain Green a 'luxury resort'. The units are large but average quality and quite dated inside. However, they are fairly priced for their location, and the facilities in the complex are very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rental manager said that the 'deluxe' level units are those that have been renovated more recently.

This is a great place for people who want to spend most of the day on the mountain and then have a few drinks and mingle in the lobby bar or hot tub. It is not good for those looking to be pampered or spend all their time indoors.

After I booked this place, I was a little unsure about it after reading some mixed reviews. But I have to say there was no need to worry because the room we had was excellent. (G3 I think) It was clean, modern and was equipped with everything you needed. Our veiw was of the slopes which was great as there was already snow on the mountain. The only down side was that there were no bar or restuarant facilities open, but we were there in the off season so maybe thats to be expected. All in all we really enjoyed our 3 night stay and would have no problem in staying there again. For those people in the past who have not enjoyed their room all I can say is either the rooms have undergone a massive overhaul since or that they just chose the wrong room to stay in.

I thought that the green mountain condos where amazing and where situated in an amazing place literally a 2 minute walk from the slopes and even a free shuttle if you wanted.. Also a shuttle into Rutland at various times throughout the day.. Staff where very friendly and welcoming. My room was very clean and well kept although i went along with my school and not everyone's where as good as some. The food is very poor although we didn't mind as we ate everyday at the ski slopes and there is a steak bar 2 minutes up the road. I had an amazing holiday and thought that green mountain condos was amazing as there is a shop in the hotel complex a gym, well-being clinic, pool and sauna and an arcade games room. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone for a skiing holiday. :)

Stayed for five nights in the summer, when most of the units are unoccupied. We were initially in a one bedroom sporting peeling paint, mirrors ripped off the wall and in general need of a facelift. After complaining, we moved the next day to a much nicer unit. Can be hot in the summer (no AC), especially in rooms with skylights. Indoor pool was closed but enjoyed the outdoor pool every day. For the price, it was a good value in the summer when compared to other hotels and condos. Some higher floor units have very nice views. They have summer monthly rates that are extremely reasonable and attract retirees from Florida. WIFI was free and reliable.

Great ski hotel. It isn't a resort and probably isn't where you want to stay if you or a member of your group isn't skiing. But if you are going to ski and expect a nice place for that caters to skiers/riders Stay here. Everyone was friendly and helpfull from the deli staff to the front desk. We booked through killingtons central reservation system and they had our arrival day off by one. When we arrived the front desk was able to quickly understand the situation and figure out a good solution for us.
They are very close to Snowshed lifts. We never considered taking the shuttle- we just walked (no kids on this trip) but most kids would be fine with it.
The rooms we a little bigger than we expected. Because of the snafu I mentioned earlier we stayed in both a one bedroom unit and a studio. Both were nice and spacious. Kitchen was handy and had a full sized fridge which was nice. Spa was also nice but no beverages at the hot tub was a downer and closing at 9 was a bit early.

I stayed in a one bedroom unit that sleeps 4. The room had a kitchenette and is generally spacious and well layed out.

This room and the hotel were probably considered a top place to stay ... in 1980. Today, not so much. The interior of our room was filthy. This "resort" needs to hire a real cleaning crew. Also, some basic maintainance wouldn't hurt. In our unit, the front door had recently been broken in, as the door jamb bas broken and rigged to function. Where the dirty carpet ended at the kitchen boundary, the sharp carpet tacks were exposed, creating a dangerous situation for feet.

Human hairs (from all parts of the body) from previous visitors were everywhere. Dried shampoo still on the walls of the shower. And YET, the "cleaning crew" had been in our room, as the towels and sheets were folded. I fully expected the toilet to clog ... thankfully it didn't. The game room was outdated

Here are some pluses: The pool and spa areas were updated and clean. The restaurant/bar was good, as was the convenience store located in the main building. If you just want a room right next to Killington Mountain, you can't get closer than this place.

If you prefer 4 or 5 star hotels, dont bring the family here. If you prefer clean sheets, take a pass on this place.
