“lovely!!”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

We stayed in the renovated post and beam house across from the main B & B house. It's charming, spacious and the view from the back deck is heavenly. The post and beam house is even nicer than the pictures Marsha posted. Very clean, nicely decorated, good sized rooms affording some privacy for the multiple guests, and great water pressure in the bathrooms for the water snobs. We had a lovely breakfast each morning at the time we selected following coffee on our gorgeous deck. Our gracious hosts Marsha and David were friendly and informative. Unbelievable value for the money, especially for this region. It exceeded my expectations in every way. We all want to come back for a week next year.

Room Tip: There aren't any bad ones.......

Marsha & David are the best. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfasts are to die for (be prepared to gain weight) and the owners are wonderful. We stayed for 2 nights in the King room with a private bath.
They have beautiful grounds with lots of flowers and a wonderful view of the mountains.
This is definitely a place to come back to time and time again.

I stayed at this B&B while conducting business in Johnson. It's a beautiful old farm house with comfortable and clean rooms. The owners are pleasant and accommodating, and the breakfasts were amazing.

David and Marsha are gracious and lovely B&B hosts. The guest house was the perfect place to spend our few days in Vermont and the breakfasts served in the main farmhouse each morning were amazing.

The guest house is located across the road from the main house next to the barn, and is set on a small plot of land next to a local cemetery (at least the neighbours were quiet!). The accommodation was spacious and lovingly decorated with antiques from the farm antique shop. The small kitchen had a microwave and small fridge, which allowed us to eat breakfast at the farm each morning and plan our own lunches and dinners.

David and Marsha were full of local information including things to do and see, restaurant recommendations and where the nearest coin-op laundry was. At the end of our stay David even opened up the Antique shop for me to poke around in.

Room Tip: If you stay in the guest house over Summer you can use the grill and enjoy some BBQing

We stayed here for two nights in August 2012. We loved staying in the small cabin across the street from the main house and highly recommend it. It was clean and comfortable and the food- delicious! If we go back to the area we would absolutely stay there again!

Marsha and Dave have an awesome house and are such great hosts for you ski stay. We had the whole house for three families. While I would not recommend it for families with toddlers, 5 and up find this house a wonderland filled with treasures. It is just minutes from Smugglers Notch. The rooms are beautiful and restored to the time period. It is clearly a labor of love for the owners. The breakfast was great and they asked and were aware if food allergies. We will be back and we hope for a longer stay.

My partner and I decided to have our wedding in Vermont and we couldn't have asked for a better location to host our families than Nye's Green Valley Farm. From the day we walked in, Marsha and David welcomed us with open arms and made sure that we had everything we needed for our wedding. From finding the perfect ceremony spot, to accommodating both of our families and all of their needs (approximately 30 people), to organizing a bonfire, and recommending an affordable wedding caterer, Marsha and David helped us organize and execute it all.

Marsha and David were incredibly warm towards us and our entire family, so we recommend Nye's to anyone who is looking for a cozy and memorable getaway. We look forward to returning to Nye's Green Valley Farm soon!
