We had a wonderful stay at Sterling Ridge while on a ski trip to Smugglers Notch. We had a two bedroom cabin that was roomy enough for all four of us. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and about 5 minutes away from Smuggs. The resort itself is scenic and our cabin overlooked a pond. Really lovely! The office staff was welcoming and helfpul My only minor complaints would be that the cabins could use more hooks (lots of wet snow gear!) and the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans.. Overall, I would not hestitate to stay again.

We are so happy that you had a wonderful stay at Sterling Ridge. We try to accommodate all of our guests to make them feel as though they have "a home away from home."

Please send us an email to let us know what cabin you stayed in so that we can be sure to make adjustments to that cabin (additional pots/pans, hooks.) Thanks for looking out for us :)

Hope to see you again soon!

We booked the "romance package" for a 3 night winter getaway with our dogs and it did not disappoint. Cabin was larger than expected with a king size bed and huge jacuzzi tub. Small kitchen was well stocked with dishes and had everything we needed to make a few nice meals (including a dishwasher!). Wood stove lets off immense heat and we were toasty all weekend, although there were additional heaters in the cabin. Great amount of rustic charm, but it still had tv and wifi. There's miles of different well-groomed trails to hike (even in winter) on the property and just off the road adjacent to the resort. We hiked with our dogs and rented snow shoes from the lodge. We didn't have to ask for a thing, but I am confident they could have attended to our needs if we had any. There were other occupied cabins, but we barely saw another person, it was very peaceful and quiet. A very minor complaint is that the shower was tiny, but as I mentioned the huge jacuzzi tub made up for it. The town is very quaint and we ventured out for a meal once, but mostly we just enjoyed the resort. Overall it was a great trip and we will definitely be back in the warmer weather to explore the trails and pond when they aren't frozen over.

I looked at the pictures you took, they are fantastic! I love the one that you took of the glass by the fire - very romantic.

We stayed in the Wilderness Cabin (3 BR) because we wanted 2 bedrooms that had Queen beds. The Cabin was great, very roomy, everything was clean. It was like our own little home on the mountain. Everyone was very helpful both on the phone making arrangements and in person.

This is our second time staying at Sterling Ridge and I don't think there are enough words to explain how magical this resort is. The cabins are clean, the staff are friendly (including Max, the dog). The dishes and utensils are very clean also. It's a very comfortable place and we will be back for a third time.

Room Tip: Lower numbered cabins are further from the construction, less likely to hear it.

Pond house was huge! Spacious rooms. Living room, wood fire place, great hiking trails. They sell discounted snuffs tickets. One con: lady bugs.... They are everywhere! You get used to it but one night I aware I got rid of 15 in our bed room. Kitchen cabinets missing a few knobs in certain a places.
Great place !

We just recently got home from our Anniversary stay at Sterling Ridge, and I wanted to write this review, because it was such a nice experience. We stayed in cabin 19, and it was clean and very warm and welcoming upon opening the door. There was a lovely gift basket with wine and 2 Sterling Ridge wine glasses, chocolates and a "Happy Anniversary" card from the staff. Such an exceptional way to make us feel special! We LOVED the privacy and quiet, although they were doing construction on the cabin across the way and they started with their loud noises at 7am the 2nd morning we were there. (It clearly says on the instruction sheet on the fridge: "quiet time is from 10pm to 9am") The King bed was huge and soft, but unfortunately, in cabin 19, it sinks in the middle, and was a little difficult to not "roll" into the dip. All in all a great place to stay! If they get a new mattress for #19, it will be PERFECT! **Also, LOVED their sweet dog who greets everyone at the main office cabin! Such a lovable 'ole boy! Thank you for a nice time....

Room Tip: 19 is beautiful for 2, but the mattress dips in the middle.

It is always nice to hear that our guests have a nice experience here at Sterling Ridge Resort. It is guests like you that help keep our property in working order. Thank you for letting us know about the mattress in Cabin 19. We are, as I am typing, in the process of ordering a new mattress for that cabin.
As for the construction noise, yes we do have a curfew, but unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the contractors. Rest assured, this construction will be over in a month or 2 and Sterling Ridge will be back to the peaceful resort it is known and loved for.
We hope that you give us the opportunity to make your next visit even more welcoming.

Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention.

I cannot say enough positive things about Sterling Ridge Resort. The one bedroom cabin we stayed in for our honeymoon was very spacious. The photos hardly do it justice. It was VERY clean and up to date. We went mid October just after Columbus day so we had plenty of peace and quiet. The Innkeepers were very warm, friendly, and helpful. Very sweet people! I've never been on a vacation where I didn't eventually want to come home. I could've lived in that cabin forever!
